I've actually been playing Reaper way more. I've gotten board with my main 3 DPS so branched out to Reaps, he's still super fun.

Well thats because relative to other heroes he is in fact worse. However every hero can be viable if you just put in the time to get good with them. That means heroes that are generally considered worse can still get a lot of value even at a high skill level

reaper is valuable because he kills tanks. tank position is the most op role in the game. so i guess reaper maybe needs buffs but its too valuable this season.

There's no way he thinks Reaper is actually OP... He gets shafted in every engage on midtown and only lives when there's a support nearby to pocket him. Yeah, you can get to grandmasters (if he made it to grandmasters with Reaper this season), but that doesn't magically make the character good. All he's allowed to do is spam bullets aimlessly for the DPS passive. No kills. Just damage.
