She's hungry and wants affection, thats why all of the meowing. A stray had adopted me at my home 2 years ago and she would meow the same way when she would run up to see me.She would also encircle my feet with her body to prevent me from walking away, (which I never did) her meow and purr was so loud as she was always SO happy to see us. She's lived here since in warm shelter with lots of food and LOVE! I named her Phoebe...my adult son jokingly calls her "feed me" ❤️ I also have 4 Bengal cats.

Definitely a multi-lingual cat. I herd him say "meow" in THREE languages! He said in Russian "meow", then in Slovakian "meow" and in Dutch "meow"! Must be a well traveled little fellow! Ask him to meow over to America! I'll teach him how to meow in English and Spanish.

Another note (about the multi-lingual cat {or cats} ) this is normal for them, cats are more intelligent than humans (majority) give them less than what they know. They aren't computer science cats or surgery kitty (Dr. Kitty)... but they are much smarter than most give them (and this goes for all the fauna out there in the wild as well- listen to if the squirrels, are they talking at the birds or you? )

Most humans do NOT respect all the worlds little critters. The fauna and I have been talking for over 55 years. I even notice when the birds are not talking. When the forest goes silent, the little critters are helping you beware. I know when the squirrels are talking to me ... they look at me. I feed them, too. And the birds. Cats are People Too! And dogs. And Mr Chipmunk and Ms Squirrel. Captain Spider. Spiders are great for the home, they keep out the pesty bugs, so it's capture and release if they wander into my home. Never had a problem with any animal or bug or anything ... even bulls and I get along! Always hug your cows, too! They like hugs~ PEOPLE, however, I can not understand.

Right now my little kitty is helping me get dinner ready while she waits for her boyfriend ( I borrow the neighbors cat to come and play with Baby ). Except for the seat I'm sitting in and the bed - which is her bed too - everything in my house is all about her mental and physical health. She has about 50 feet of tunnels, many towers to climb and other goodies I rotate into her play ground. Even the neighbor's dog loves seeing my kitty! I'm in an apartment complex but I leave my door open. Baby is a very popular kitty here. I'm trying to find out her secrete to being so awesome so I can maybe reverse engineer it and pass it off to humans! She like KZbin videos too. She's not interested in the news. Pamela I have always been a cat lover! (you can see my 2 girls on my channel) but as I've gotten older I have began to love dogs as well. All animals really. I have always been a cat owner. They are intelligent and and so easy to keep inside with the litter box. My last cat passed away at the age of 19. I am now retired and know I can no longer rescue another because they might outlive me.🤩

It can be hard for a cat lover, not having a cat around. You might look into getting a senior cat. They are often times overlooked in the shelters.
