Scott a bit off subject... Yesterday I had to go for a border run to Costa Rica. My drivers brother works as a supervisor at immigration at the border. For a $20 bottle of Rum he got me in and outta there in 25 minutes total and we were back on the road headed home. I'm Still overly happy about it and wanted to sure it with you 😊

SAM is FIRED UP 🔥 Good passion in this one. ESPECIALLY using the term "illegal expat" which i really liked... Wondering how long itll take before that one replaces the nonsense of "illegal immigrant"

Glad you're better! You definitely look reenergized! Be interesting, once you're back to 100%, to see a vid recapping your injury, treatment received there, and costs involved. Your topic of the day brings a few questions/scenarios to mind: If I wanted to help learners with their conversational English, on a strictly volunteer basis, to help them with their prospects of, say, doing call center work Would this be okay, In your opinion? I mean, technically there would always be an English speaking Nicaraguan national available somewhere in the country looking to do that very thing, but for pay. I think I mentioned to you before that I'd seen some info on Workaway opportunities. No pay involved, they give you a bed and a meal a day for helping around the hostel, finca, etc. Would you give that scenario a thumbs up, down, or gray area? Other volunteering arrangements that I've seen info on involve you actually paying for your food and board at eco-centers like turtle hatcheries, etc. I assume these would be considered okay? You're basically financially supporting the place and they let you pretend you're helping out with the turtle eggs or whatever. lol.

Good examples of volunteering while still putting money into the economy.

“I’ll just volunteer.” “You mean, volunteer a service that a Nica could be doing for a salary?” “No, I’ll volunteer a service that isn’t already available.” “Nice; now name a job duty that you are skilled to do, that does not already exist in Nicaragua, that the country truly needs or is lacking in.”

Hi Scott, please make sure that you have the wound cultures were obtained properly from your infected wound so the antibiotics can be deescalate. Would avoid NSAIDs - nephrotoxic when combined with certain antibiotics. Severe wounds like this close to the bone are typically treated for two weeks. Cheers from Long Island NY.

I was born in Nicaragua left over 30 years ago as a young child, would like to eventually (in a few years) to move back to my homeland. I have family in Posoltega and Leon, I would like to open a business maybe do a food truck. what is the market like for those types of businesses? I would like more information if you're open to a conversation. Thank you for your time.
