If you can silence three judges and make them cry, stun the audience and make most of us watching at home gasp and cry then you know that his performance was special. It was emotional and mature without losing control. Bravo. Encore.

Maybe not, but it sure helps to get in the door. I think where most artists fail is they don't have business skills or are afraid to hire a agent that knows the business. A lot goes into scheduling a tour and arranging concert tours along with the financial implications that go along with it. They might make a lot of money, but they pay a lot for all of the things that go with it, to some people it just is overwhelming.
