Thank you guys for watching! I’ve built a couple of these awesome commanders and left the deck techs in the description!

I love Yuma. He's resilient as all hell too. Board wipes are just small road bumps once he gets rolling.

All these end of year vids kept making me think where are the LCI cards and I had to remind myself that was the end of last year. It's fine though, most obscure cards don't get love until they're out for a while.

i actually have a Foxglove deck. my friends have asked me to stop using it after i ramped him out and had a blightsteel down turn 5

Got a marchesa and a Duskana deck, would love to build Preston and foxglove (Foxglove I can't believe isn't seen more, this makes me really want build him). 13:06 the idea of slamming an etali and making a shitload of copies is the kind of thinking I can get behind. The rest of the stuff looks cool/fringe I would want to do, love the vid, I forgive you for picking an LCI commander from last year for this vid as #1, the rest resonated so well.

You really love Naya! There are a lot of interesting Naya Commanders, but a lot of the list feels a little bit the same. Even if the ways you accomplish it our different, even your Boros commander which came out of the Preston Garvey deck sounded like get big mana slam big threats. As cool as these commanders are, it would be nice to see you embrace some of those color combos you really don't go for and diversify the lists a little more. Honestly though, I haven't built a single new commander from the year, although a lot did stand out. Eluge is one of the most standout among the bunch. Mono colored builds are so overlooked.

I really like The master, Transcendent as a self-mill reanimator. Its just usually built around the fallout cards which do synergyce but lack something I cant find myself

Have you seen the list from Tolarian academy? The prof built a really solid base to build upon. Also i don't know what power level you want the deck to be but i recomend adding out of the tombs and river kelpie, they make a pretty cool infinite combo, but is fair because is super slow ans rewarding to setup

Great content, as always! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

I'm hoping Bonny Pall is on this list. Making a herd of 'non-legendairy' cows is so much fun

Ya that is a very strong card. I’ve never built that type of deck I have been considering it

Yeah 3 dog is wild. I built it with a lot of indestructible enchantments and flawless maneuver stuff. then filled the deck with board wipes. So strong

Cass (Hand of Vengeance)(☀️🔥auras & equipment) and Rex (Cyber-Hound)(☀️💧energy & grave hate) ended up being my Fallout picks of the year, where as Baron Bertram Graywater (☀️💀 aristocrats) ended up being my Outlaws of Thunder Junction pick, and I paired Malcom (Keen-Eyed Navigator) with Francisco (Fowl Marauder) (💧💀 pirates) for my Lost Caverns of Ixilan pick. Ghired seems like he could go great in the 99 of my Go-Shintai of Life's Origin (⚪🔵⚫🔴🟢shrines), due to the shrine tokens made by the general. I'm interested in building Sokrates (Athenian Teacher) (☀️💧 control) for my Assassin's Creed pick, though some others in the set could definitely use a second or third opinion. There's some interesting stuff in there.

Rex is my #1 underrated pick of the year. Unlike many other commanders’ effects, the brain bank stays even if the commander is removed and replayed, so you can always continue where you left, with your Arcanis, Morphling etc. abilities.

I think Yuma would be the best landfall commander this year but 2 things happened 1 a little guy came out that’s just better in the necrobloom and deserts enter tapped so you have to run an amulet of vigor and spelunking
@zackkelley29402 күн бұрын
He's also competing directly with Hazezon Shaper of Sands from 2022 who can come out much quicker and can replay deserts from the graveyard. He's great in the 99 of Hazezon though.

NGL when thunder junction came out I built at least 4-5 decks and probably would have built more if I had the time/budget they nailed a lot of commanders with Obeka, Gitrog, Marchesa, Kellan, Roxanne, etc...
@Commander_Claw2 күн бұрын
I think it’s an under the radar set. I think the art / wild Wild West theme turned off players. Plus we had so many sets with themes, you’re left deciding which is most visually attractive. I did pass Thunder Junction and came back to it in December.
