I so agree. I swear if I see another rose gold shimmer in a palette I will gag. The market is flooded with warm toned themes. There isn't enough cool tones and good yellow shimmers that don't pull gold. The one in limeade by violet voss is great. It's a legit yellow shimmer.

The Baroque is pretty but my absolute favorite is the Grandeur, followed by Baroque, then the Ornate. So so pretty!

I love doing a shadow wing like that. I like to connect it sort of to the crease... not explaining that well at all lol, but it looks good. Never thought to use paper though. Such a good idea. I either freehand it, clean up after, or use those eye shadow tapes-not tape tape, but specific tape for eye shadow. I love the tape, but usually forget to restock, so the paper is a great idea! I love the look of this pallet, but I am so terrified to get it. I am very pale, but have a very warm skintone. Taupe is usually the coolest I go. Not sure this would suit me, but darn is it an intriguing pallet. On the fence. Thank you for this though, very helpful :)

I know what you mean! I actually prefer sticky notes over paper since it sticks better and doesnt slide around as much (but doesnt tug on the skin like normal tape does!). I havent tried the eye tape before, my friend likes the ones from ELF I know but I always forget to try them when Im at the store. This color story is definitely very unique. You could always do a taupe as a transition shade or a true neutral brown and then add these for definition/spice. Kinda like doing a black smokey eye but with grey blues instead of black. I believe this one is still available through Ulta and they have a really good return policy!

I have been eyeballing this palette. When I saw it in the collection this was the one I was drawn to out of all of them. I thought it pulled more blue which I love but still Smokey. Love this eye look it’s as gorgeous as always.

me too! im kicking myself for not picking it up when it launched. Ive been having a lot of fun pairing it with the Stone Cold Fox palette! its like a blueish grey depending on the shadow! i think its technically called steel grey but idk haha. im so bad with color names! Some of the colors in person are a brownish blueish color which is really interesting too. its a very interesting color story!

I haven’t been too interested in colourpop until this palette and the hocus pocus. Palette I only bought one and I returned it , blush crush it didn’t have enough depth for me. I really want to give them another try but I don’t know what to get besides this one and possibly the child palette. What do you think ?

Blush Crush is super bridal in my opinion. I dont have the Child palette unfortunately. I do really enjoy this one! Its a very different color story in my opinion.

I tried to see if they still had it at Ulta but they don’t so I was planning on maybe getting a couple and a couple of their blank pallets for single eyeshadows I’ve been wanting to try some multi chromes from indie brands so I figured it’s so cheap might as well buy the blank pallet through them if I’m going to pick up a pallet or two.
