Emma was a terrible friend to manny when she dated the guy who exploited her while she was drunk. That's the worst thing she ever did and Manny forgave her and helped her through her eating disorder. I did love their friendship tho I just wish that didn't happen

Spinner coming back to Degrassi was necessary for his growth. He needed to be at his lowest possible point and be given a chance by someone. Spinner was feeling residual guilt for what happened but Jay was the instigator...

Plus, while jimmy is understandibly angry towards spinner, the latter gas lit him on various occasions: trying to ruin his chances with darcy, overdunking him at the fair, and probably other stuff since it's been a while watching this show. For a dude who says "you're dead to me", he really goes out of the way to hurt spinner and they become friends again once ashley dates him again. Still, I get that they're buds again after cooling off, but it just felt off at times. I would understand jimmy's actions if spinner didn't own up to the rick situation or was still a jerk, but jimmy gas lit spinner at times. Not cool.

It was just so randomly written... It was like they didn't know what to do with their plots. If Emma and Spinner had any sort of tension in previous seasons it would make sense, but it just seems so random.

I agree. Adam was whiny and complaining that the world wasn’t good enough for him. Not that the world or society owed a trans person more respect, but that he just expected everything to be easy and he hated having to overcome even the slightest thing, like attending other people’s celebrations or being happy for Eli getting counseling for bipolar or Claire realizing she has to share the stage with other people, Adam was never emotionally supportive or even interested in other people’s stories. I think his Personality was always dismissed and overshadowed in favor of everyone just focusing on “omg she wants to be He and is transgender and he is so cool for being so brave!!!!! Squeeeeeeee!!” Goes all the fans. Honestly I don’t care if you’re transgender, and I will only use the pronoun of your intended gender, not this “ze zed zey they them” crap, one we are not Dutch, and two, I don’t use plurals to describe/refer to a singular person, bc otherwise it’s an oxymoron and I ain’t a moronic moron gullible enough to believe that 1 person can be a They/Them. If you want to be a man, I will call you He/Him/His. If you want to be a woman, I will call you She/She’s/Her/Hers. But you know what? I would rather just mind my own business and only know you as one gender, I don’t want your backstory and I don’t want to know the old you if you’re trying to change into someone new. In fact. I don’t wanna know your sexuality, bc I’m straight, I’m married and already taken, so why would your sexual preferences be any of my business when I don’t even ask???

I rewatched the first episode of season 13 not too long ago and Tristan LITERALLY bailed on Maya for Zoe. Then he was like, "I'd never abandon you Maya," and I'm like, "you liar!" He's the type of person to put fame over friends. I think Miles had better character development than Tristan because at least he became a nicer person towards his last couple of seasons. I love Eclare, but Clare was so annoying and there were times when I felt like Eli deserved better! I'm still mad at her for dumping him the first time. Manny and Craig started off good, he really did like her at first, but then they made Manny seem childish and that turned him off. They had cute moments though, during their third relationship. I certainly preferred Craig with Manny because Ashley was the worst. The actor that played J.T. was debating on leaving the show because he wanted to finish his education. But either way, I think it's wrong for people to want someone else stabbed, instead of a beloved character. Yeah, Spinner messed up and it's still weird that Spinner was able to come back, but Spinner's character development was impressive. Ms. Oh and Sav together was just disgusting. The lady was literally hooking up with a minor!

I watched this show when I was younger so I grew up with the later seasons (like 10 up) so I always said the later seasons were better... but im currently watchinng the series all the way through and nothing compares to the OG cast😩 like seasons 1-6. Im so embarrassed I even thought the later seasons were better at one point.

I'm not sure if this is a unpopular opinion but I didn't like Ellie. She was very self centered. Like after Marco is literally subjected to anti gay violence and instead of comforting him she guilts him and acts like he's being selfish when he's worried to bring subjected to more violence

Imma sound real annoying but I like the fact that Adam was “boring and normal” they didn’t need to do anything extra with him. He wasn’t a waste he was just a regular person he didn’t need to be some trans icon that everyone wanted. Representation where people are literally just living life getting through the day is what’s needed. In the end he was struggling I mean can you imagine finally getting a gf who comes from a super Christian family and has never been with anyone who’s trans. He was insecure, scared, confused and then he died by making a poor decision. Shit happens. I agree I don’t like Claire unless she’s with Eli but I def think the writers are to blame they put her through so much. Jenna was a crappy friend at first but she got better. Manny was an insecure teenage bitch for a lot of the show let’s not forget what she did to page including the fact that she knew what page had suffered through. I loved Alex and page bisexual icons. Craig.. omg I couldn’t even finish those seasons I skipped before they even graduated but he was so bad and him and manny were a shitty ass couple. Emma is.. not good. She’s judgmental even when there’s literally nothing to judge, and she has pro life vibes which.. no? Just no your literally a woman sis hop off that pick me girls aesthetic. Liberty deserved better and Degrassi did all the black characters DIRTY especially liberty. She and JT were the same levels of trash tbh though I mean let’s not forget how he pushed Toby out of his life because of his connection with Rick. Tristan.. I didn’t hate him all the time but he could’ve done with a better redemption ark. Holly J IS A SAVAGE!!! Her and Declan were cute but I think they def needed a break. Did not ship her and Sav... like friends with benefits os totally cool but he should’ve never expected more or called it off when he started catching feelings. THE MATLIN SISTERS CARRIED!!! Like Katy was a bitch and I didn’t like her MOST of the time but she’s one of the older siblings who are actually their for their younger siblings. Manny Emma and liberty should have never staid friends and yeah.. that’s about it lol 😂 Oh and poor Fiona she deserved a gf worthy of her talent and I totally would’ve shipped her with Holly J but I think the friendship was a better story and just what she needed.

I noticed there's two Damians on the Degrassi series one that came in season 6 & season 7 that came from the Lakehurst School after JT York's death and after the Lakehurst School burned 🔥down And the other Damien is later on that's one of Zig Novak's friends who was in season 12 and a little bit in season 13 and 14 for a few episodes but he wasn't really in alot of episodes as much though

Liberty was like at JT was because when Mia came along he was so thrilled about her having a daughter. When JT pushed for adoption on his and Liberty's baby. Liberty was jealous and upset that he didn't want his own daughter but would gladly act like a father to someone else's baby. Honestly JT didn't deserve Liberty.

Spinner and Emma together works because the actors were a couple in real life. Lola was a great character and deserved better than Miles. Bruce shouldn't have even been main cast. They didn't even give him a last name! Can't stand Fiona. She's the most whiny, priveledged character ever. Next class was okay. I liked Maya, Lola, and Frankie.
