I've been thinking the same thing for a few days now,Infinity Ward would have had 2 years to remaster them both which would mean that we could get 3 games released in the same year which would make sense considering after Treyarch release their COD next year, IW need to make up for the giant mess that Infinite Warfare was,what better way to do that than releasing a MW2 and MW3 remastered bundle,only problem with that is I don't know which one I'll put most of my time into as IMO MW2 and MW3 are both the pinnacle of the series

Curtis Evans I said it encourages you to play the objective. It encourages players to go and cap a flag or the hard point for example instead of camping. Why would they have objective modes in the game if nobody played them? I only play objective modes and I always play the objective and scorestreaks are great for players like me. If you want killstreaks, play TDM where you only get kills anyway

I hope they add in streak variations similar to Infinite Warfare Some ideas for variants: Molotov: Larger radius but lower damage Recon Craft: Copy of the Pack Rat UAV (Longer duration but lower HP) Counter Recon: Higher cost but blocks radar Fighter: Drops a set of bombs at the center of it's run Flamethrower: Better range at the cost of max fuel Paratroopers: Smaller squad but drops in with heavy weapons like LMGs and Launchers

Worst streaks IMO for this game in no order: recon plane (really, 5 kills?), mAlotov cocktail (this shouldn't even be a streak but a perk or equipment), paratroopers (for a high cost, they are low in number and die easily), flaming bomb run (high cost, low efficiency. Fire should at least stay around longer), counter recon (useless if no enemy recon plane).

Flamethrower's my favorite. Easy enough to earn and I can usually get 8+ kills each time. Granted if im playing infantry I could probably get 4 of those 8 just with the bayonett but cmon setting people on fire en masse is really fun, especially on the close quarters maps when it really comes in handy.

In all honesty i love the new counter uav. It actually makes sense. And honestly old cuavs were just free points, it always gets shot down in a few seconds, because its unbelievably obvious and obnoxious so people will instantly target it and take it down for free points and they still had their uav or advanced uav, and are closer to their next streak.

Despite it being stupid in game, the paratrooper drops with nothing but a shovel was real and pretty common in WW2. There are interviews of surviving airborne veterans landing with nothing but a knife or a shovel because their firearm slipped or snagged in some tree during the drop. I think one such interview was by one of the guys in Band of Brothers.

Some of the streaks’ utility depends on the game mode. Flamethrower owns in War or Free-For-All, but isn’t so great for Team Deathmatch for example. I find Fighter Pilot is tough to use and I usually just get one kill with a Glide Bomb. Seems like every time I sneak on a fool and swipe his Turret Gunner he rage quits and I lag out. Never got a V2 yet but I’d estimate I’ve hit a few 10+ killstreaks before.

You say that someone parachuting into battle with a shovel wouldn't live to tell the tale, but there was that one guy, Jack Churchill who fought in WWII using nothing but a claymore, a set of bagpipes and a longbow and lived to brag about it. So, hearing a tale of a guy parachuting into battle in WWII armed with nothing but a shovel and taking several people with him wouldn't surprise me all that much, not to say that it wouldn't surprise me.

I do honestly have fun with the molotov. Sure it's blast radius is garbage but it works in hard point and dom when there are enemies on the objective. It could use a wider radius and a longer burn time so you could use it as a lockdown on a domination flag or a route into a hard point to prevent people from getting a cap.

I don't mind the weaker scorestreaks. As much fun as I had in MW2 the spam got old pretty quickly. In WW2 I normally run recon, strafing run and either glide bomb (if I'm having a rough day) or artillery barrage. I don't find myself getting anything higher than very often. I do like the idea of recon, strafing run and maybe paratroopers though.

You can use the molotov as a barrier to cover you for a short while. (throw it in a door way or path so it's harder to get killed from behind) For an example while capturing a point.

Flak guns are usually terrible, but they did help me win a hardpoint game once when I got it in a care package, saved it and shot down the enemy paratrooper plane before they arrived late game. So thats something I guess
