My deepest sympathy as you and your family mourn the loss of your Dad Glen. Wrap your man up in your loving arms Marie and remind him how strong he is and what an integral part of your life he will always be. Sending prayers and so much love for you both.

WONDERFUL VIDEO! Really unusal finds. The dive shoes were to keep divers down on the bottom to do work underwater and used in training back in the day. I 🤣 when 🚂 blew its 📯n and Marie's look and says "excuse me" 🤣🤣 The history and photos were wonderful Marie keep up GREAT WORK editing putting together the history. 👍 My heart aches for you Glen as today your heart is hurting and the Peaky family are saddened for the loss of your Father. Loss is a horrible thing to have and the days to come are not easy.. As you are walking through feeling broken today and these days to come Remember the Great things, the funny moments, the small things that a loved one did, was, and whom they were. Even in difficult relationships We love them we hurt to loss them but we have to share, remember, celebrate the good parts of them to keep them in our hearts and minds. You will always carry a part of them with you because you are made from them. No more worries, no more pain, no more unhappy times for them and we have to be relieved happy for them even though you are sad they are gone, They arr never gone the things they did, your memories, your love for them, are still here. You are a part of a parent, you may not like it but you may have their smile, their attitude, their mannerisms, and their love so. Our Loved Ones are Watching Over. Prayers for you and your family! ❤️

it amazes me that Europe does not have a salvage industry......there is soooooo much scrap metal in the rivers/canals/etc...that could support a salvage industry.....

After finding your site & bingeing on it for a while I've come to the realization that most magnet fishers are good conservationists & historians. I've only subscribed to certain ones because I like the styles in which they are presented and when they give excellent and well researched historical details. Please keep up the excellent work you do. And I also recommend the sites I really enjoy. My most sincere condolences to two on the loss of Glens father & your father in law. May he rest in peace.

I know it takes work to do the historical research THANK YOU!!! Don't ever stop doing them. I love when English folks say something is "new" and it's from the 1700s and 1800s or earlier !!!

If a dishonest shopkeeper filled the weights to make them heavier they would only be diddling themselves as the weight would then be heavier than the weight printed on the top. The lead is in there to allow the weight to be adjusted to weigh exactly right.

Grenade and the webly are cool finds fair play all...... I've always wanted to find a grenade I can keep but unless obvious I wouldn't have a clue, as for guns is it true if its before 1963 it's classed as absolete caliber so safe to keep?

The Romans crossed the river on foot a few hundred yards/metres down stream from the bridge. Perhaps in a summer at very low water you could return for a new visit. Please study the history first.

That's my home town! Barges use to lay up along the key side where you were magnet fishing. The town goes back to the Norman period of history, it's name means beautiful meadow. The Free French were based just south of where you were, a few miles down the road. Lax Lane to the south I dead is Latin, meaning Salmon lane. In the medieval period the river separated the boundary between the then Wales and England. Gosh there is so so much history we're you are. Nice finds.

We're still all together we just film separately even if we're at the same location. There may be a odd occasion when we are at separate locations as we live quite a distance apart so sometimes funds just won't allow it. Outkast will hever split up, we're rock solid. Family 🤟
