Thanks for posting I agree with T/rifts and such but hadn’t realised the bonuses of Erroban which doesn’t really take that long. I’ll keep to that. Naivety led me to run randoms believing that to be worthwhile benefits, you have cleared that up nicely-appreciated. PS hope blizz spots the lag spikes caused by T rifts!

6:36 about monster essences in verge, you don’t have to pick them up, everything that drops within verge will drop on the ground once you leave, including monster essences

Hey Mao, really nice vid as always! I'd like to share something I've been doing with Ereban, yep, it's not 100% guaranteed but if you reach danger level 8 and open at least 70 chests you're going to get 2 abysal essences. As for the abyssal verge, same happens if you score 2K+ points.

Thanks for this. Small nit: You also get codex points for turning in 10 abyssal essences (for the rune) as well as the monster essences. Regarding trifts, I obsessively run them on my main and alts as ways to get the daily gems. So, I run them once or twice a day on a given character always in a party of four. I average around 6 unbound gems this way plus the terror essence, which my alts feed to my main.

Hi Mao well me and a clan mate tested Erabban last night as recommended and we both agreed with your assessment it was better to solo and so much faster exp! I’m 7 away from 400 so hoping they don’t nerf it anytime soon..! Excellent tip thanks again 🙌

Oh! Regarding monster essences, you don't need to pick them up in Verge or Erebban. Any monster essences left on the ground will appear around you when you leave the instance. Same with all the items that drop.

Just on the abyssal essence, yes it is a chance, I've had a double essence run currently at the lowest with a 1714 score run, but even going past 2000 doesn't guarantee double drop (highest was a 2300 run with single drop) Gems instead work as 2 per 500 score and are jot capped at 6 per run, 2000+ runs get 8 gems which is really nice

In erebban I opened 115 chests in 1 run and got almost 750k experience (at 100% experience).That's just crazy numbers, because it's only 4 minutes.

I tried to like ereban...but as a demon hunter it is simply not like i am on a horse 24/7 or barbarian with 70 % sprint 100% uptime. It is not the same case of Xp per hour compared to a class with 70 % speed. Ofc thank you as always ur videos are always good and valuable.

You're right, I could see definitely see Erebban being challenge for classes that struggle with mobility especially playing solo. I usually party up with my friend who is a DH and in 2-man over 1h we reached danger level 8 everytime. At the end of the run I usually ask him how many chests he managed to open and it is usually between 50-60 while I am usually at 75+ (as Crusader) I have been stuck with Crus the past few weeks because of Risk & Rally but now that's over I might try switch back to DH and give it a whirl. Tbh unless you're really set on pushing paragon, xp isn't that important! This video serves as a review of the different modes and looks at the good and bad parts of each. If you are looking purely for xp then I could recommend abyssal which should work decently well on DH. I still had decent results there compared to OW

In erreban As a dh I like shadowsight skill with escape dashes and use strafe summon with movement speed buff, shadowsight allows me to plan for the path..

Open world. My prefereence is Realm of Damnation (plains or forest). Though I heard people have slightly more scraps/h in Zoltun Kulle (small box in middle of map)

Amazing info as usual. I just gotta disagree with the terror essences part. I don’t know anyone who sells their terror essences. It’s literally a stone for a Lego in most cases, and you need 10 per week. Selling them is simple just dumb

@@Bingusman I don't sell mine either. In fact I think if you are running them for the sole reason of plat then it doesn't feel worth it. The game has assigned a maximum value to them of 400 plat. So I was making the arguement why they should be capped to 10 per week if the maximum value you can gain from running a 13 minute rift would be 800 plat (2 Terror essence)

@@deviszylali9770 Yes it is good as f2p. For farming it is great probably the fastest. For group play it is flexible you but probably worth trying to go more as support if you're f2p or just starting out. Definitely worth trying. Necro is also great but just depends if you like that sort of playstyle. Skeletal mage Minion and Corpse Lance really shine if you're into those archetypes. Probably not quite as fast as sader but it has some really cool mechanics with bone armor and can dish out damage like crazy if you build it correctly

i also noticed exp going twice faster on Erebban compare to OWF but my biggest issue is we have to manualy open every chest. i can do 1 or 2 runs and i am sick of this :X On my mobile is just a torture clickin it every 2 seconds while OWF is super chill on my Barb. Also i am getting more legendaries and runes on OWF.

Yeah, I feel ya. It can be super boring playing it for too long. Still, I recommend capping the weekly gems either there or Abyssal. After that I wouldn't feel too bad skipping it till the next week

Hi Mao. Other side i want to ask you. I have BSJ, Gloom and Bottle Hope rank 4 equipped. And i have 4/5* Roiling rank 1. I have enough to push one gem to 5. What gem should i go ?( Bottle Hope and Gloom just 3/5* rank 4. BSJ 4/5* rank 4 )

Going from 4 to 5 I would say gloom probably has the best effect (increased damage) but personally I would probably still go for BSJ if the cost to upgrade isn't an issue. It's still the best gem in the game imo and will always have a space for every single build/class. You also already have it at 4/5 which will give you more reso and combat rating on upgrade compared to the 3/5s. I would also definitely invest some resources into roiling if you can. Saving up 50 gem power for R2 at least shouldn't be so bad. That gem is pretty much in the same league as BSJ. Gloom and hope are great gems don't get me wrong but probably just 1 tier lower than BSJ and roiling

Open World Farm in RoD or Zoltun Kulle works great. Don't forget to cap your battle pass. Each level past 40 gives a lot of scrap and hilts

It's nice to chase a high score but it's too bad you don't get much in terms of extra rewards for it EDIT: sorry for some reason I thought you asked about abyssal verge score. For accursed tower highest I saw on my server was something like 5.5k. in our clan we only pushed to 4.2k. It seems to be possible to push a lot higher than this though with a lot of preparation. I have seen 7k+ scores on other servers

if you wana fast and good xp just do afk farming with macro, blizz never ban anyone for afk farming, in my server the 75% who hit 400 paragon is from afk macro farming (pc) even with multy reports with clips nothing happen...
