#7 Patient 18 isn't pausing to carefully answer. He's listening to the voices in his head before answering. I saw a post supposedly made by a relative of his and it was stated that he never committed any major crimes and years later committed suicide. He also said he was prone to staying completely motionless for long periods of time.
@zachmeyer8962 Жыл бұрын
I watched a big portion of the actual interview he is schizophrenic I believe is what it was and he's on all kinds of medication so yeah that dude isn't 100% there but like you said I don't think he committed any major crime
@stevestevens6247 Жыл бұрын
You're right. When he talks about sitting at the piano or standing he means motionless in awkward positions. Catatonic schizophrenia. You can literally pose people with this and they will just stay that way. There are plenty of old photos and videos of early treatment of this condition. Even though he's probably heavily medicated you can see the internal struggle he's going through in his mind. Thinking of how to word his answers and organize the words that hes most likely listening to voices his head.

A couple of things. You said Delphine LaLaurie came from a "wealthy, white Creole family ". Creole people are the descendants of European and blacks, according to Websters Dictionary. Now, the other thing. Vlad Tsepes (pronounced Seeps) was a Wallachian nobleman and folk hero. When he was a child, he and his brother were sent as hostages to the Turkish court, where they were handservants, and victims of sexual perversions. When finally allowed to go back home, his brother refused to go, having learned to enjoy the lifestyle. As a result, Vlad hated the Turks and his brother. I'm sure some of the stories about him are exaggerated, example, he repelled the main Turkish army by impaling 10,000 of their scouts on stakes around his castle. Yes, he had the turbans nailed to the emissaries heads, because they hautily refused to remove them at the supper table. They said that it was tradition to leave them on. So, he helped them along. There was no theft in Wallachia. A gold cup was never stolen from the village well, because he put it there. He did some nasty, cruel things, but he loved and protected his country and his people loved him.

In Vlads defense the Turks he killed were invading his country and they were at war. And the impalement story comes from him using it as psychological warfare. His defending army was much smaller than the Turkish invading force so he did those types of things to creat fear and terror this evening the odds a bit it wasn't cause he was bloodthirsty, it was to defend and secure his countries existence. He never or very rarely was the aggressor he was usually fighting a defensive battle against invading armies. You didn't want to cross him but he wasn't a psycho killer. More of a great leader. In Romania he is still revered as a national hero and they believe his bones are buried on church property as he was a practicing Christian.
