I know Jamie personally . I was in her grade, and one of her friends. I remember the day after she was kidnapped, there where so many tears in the middle school. I was so afraid for her life. I never thought that this could happen near my school district. She is doing well now, and she is happy. Jamie is very brave and I look up to her every single day.

Be advised that bears can run up to speeds of 35mph in short bursts. As for getting into doors, these animals weigh between 300 to 900 lbs. I don't think a door will be a problem. Yes I've seen bears in the wild. Lived in the Yukon area for a few years.

#1: Joshua Maddox: Info left out of the video is that there’s suspicions he was placed inside the chimney. Some of his clothes were off and found inside the cabin. If he crawled down the chimney how were his pants (and underwear, if I recall correctly) inside the cabin?

The scariest cabin story I heard was when a man found a cabin in the woods. The door was chained closed but had no doorknob & the chains looked new. Like it was keeping someone in or out. When he looked inside through the window, he said he was freaked out because everything was upside down.

Growing up my two big Sisters and I went to "The Boys Club Summer Camp" every year. Each cabin had a designated number of campers and each cabin had an overnight in this cabin further in the woods that only had 3sides. No front door or front wall, just two side walls and a back wall, bunks along the back wall. The camp counselors told us the story of Seaweed Sally. Sally was in Love with some guy who her Father didn't approve of. Her Dad killed her to keep her from marrying the man she loved. He chopped her up and threw her down a well. A few years later, One stormy night the father heard this loud screeching noise from outside. Its was like scrraaaaahhhhhhh!!!!. Each time he heard this screech it was getting closer and closer and closer till it was outside his bedroom door. Then all of a sudden there was a loud knock bang!!!! bang!!!!!!, bang!!!! It was Sally getting her revenge on her Dad. After we heard this story, someone would do the screeching and the loud bangs. Loved it,

Number 10 case with the chimney has more behind the story if I recall, for anyone who wants to check into that. It’s all very strange. He was found with just his shirt on, nothing else. The rest of his clothes were found outside the firebox, as if they were thrown down the chimney? But there was a large piece of furniture shoved up against the fireplace so how his clothes got beyond that is strange? And then the owner of the cabin said it’s impossible for him to go from the top down because there was a large metal grate that he himself welded into the chimney to keep animals out and the coroners report said it looked as if he was in the cabin, stripped, then went outside and then went down. It’s all very strange. There was a few more things, it’s been a few years since I read about it so take none of my words for gold but, “ brain scratch “ here on KZbin does an excellent job as always breaking the case down for you.

It would make no sense for him to be inside, push something heavy against the firebox, undress, go back out partially nude, climb up on the roof, and try to get back in via the chimney. Furthermore, there was a grate inside the chimney to keep rodents and birds out, so how could he have gotten past that? There's a lot more info available online. It looks like someone stuffed him up the chimney from inside the cabin, then trapped him in it to die.
