This is vlog number 11 of 12 in the winter backpacking trip series. In this vlog, we go for a day trip from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is also our 39th country. On this day, first, we visited Blagaj Tekija. This is a Dervish monastery outside Mostar, Bosnia, that’s nearly 600 years old. Situated at the base of a cliff, next to the source of the river Buna, it’s a unique and picturesque series of buildings that looks even better in person than it does in pictures. Second, we went to see Počitelj village. The historic urban site of Počitelj is located on the left bank of the river Neretva, on the main Mostar to Metković road, to the south of Mostar, in the territory of Čapljina Municipality. In the middle ages, Počitelj was the administrative center and center of governance of Dubrava župa (county), and its westernmost point, which gave it major strategic importance. It is supposed that the fortified town and its attendant settlements were built by Bosnia's King Stjepan Tvrtko I in 1383. Finally, the highlight of the day was Kravice Waterfalls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Kravica Waterfall is a large tufa cascade on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is 10 kilometers south of Ljubuški and 40 kilometers south of Mostar. Its height is about 25 meters and the radius of the lake in the base of the waterfall is 120 meters.
