Ciaran O'Keefe told another member of the crew to mention the name in his earshot. Following this he became 'possessed.' and started throwing things. It really is cringeworthy to watch knowing that this so called possession was in fact fake. He was given another chance but after that that was it. Also Kreed Kafer is an anagram of Derek Faker.

Watch Ciaran at 6:30 - his interaction with David Wells here shows us that Ciaran respected David far more than Derek, even to the point of believing that David could actually speak to spirits. Notice this questioning, designed to showcase David as genuine.

@@Naturelady-rf5zx The three Scottish mediums were the best, and all three were badly treated by Most Haunted. David Wells, Gordon Smith and Chris Conway. Chris was literally smeared by Yvette and Karl in 2010, using Fred Batt to leak stories about Chris to the press, stories which were lies.

I love Most Haunted for the History of places. I have met Derek on many occasions through my work as a journalist and am quite disappointed that it was all a sham. I also recently found out that he stole the guy who trained him to be a mediums name!

Now, Derek also did himself no favours by being very violent when he did the "possession" act of this jailer. This was the final straw for Yvette, when Ciaran informed her of what he did, she then saw Derek in a different light, a man who was willing to be very violent when he pretended to do these possessions.

Please remember, that Ciaran never told anyone on the production crew of his plan to expose Derek, by planting this made up jailer name. He actually just spoke with the crew as if the jailer was real. It was only after the recording did he inform Yvette and Karl.

I have in fact learned the error of my ways, and, an hour or two after I wrote the comment I was told by a family member that I was in fact wrong, which led to an apology in the original comment thread, most of which has since been deleted. I wrote the original comment as an impulsive pre-teen, so have since matured.
