Welcome back Tricky. Regarding your career, you made the right decision. I had to make a similar one a long time ago. Regardless of how things turn out, the most important is whenever you wake up, you know you aren't a distorted shameful shadow of yourself, not simply because you spin yourself a heroic headcanon of who you are, but because you truly took action. If more people had the integrity to take the same stand as you did, nobody would humour those greedy tyrants hell bent on designing flying coffins.

Tricky, you continually amuse me for the entire course of the run. It's easy to just talk about what you're doing, but your side commentary about your life, "getting in your thinking position", frustration with the deck order, you're genuinely one of the funniest and engaging people I watch on this platform. I don't watch any streamers, just youtube highlights, but I have no doubt that I would watch your streams because I just enjoy hearing your commentary so much. Not all engineering firms are scummy and force you to compromise your morals, but if you decided to change gears and stream on twitch, you'd have my sub in a heartbeat. Also, I know I love STS way more than balatro, but it's a good game and trending, so if you're wanting to grow, that might be a potential avenue to pursue while we're waiting on STS 2

As much as I'm eagerly anticipating StS2, I'm more looking forward to seeing new Tricky content where he frequently breaks the game and enters Act 2 boss battles with 10HP like it aint no thing. Also, you definitely have the personality to become a full time successful content creator. Watching you flex on the spire is too entertaining and never gets old. EDIT And if you do put out a further video talking about the situation around your termination (and going off other recent 'unexplained' events) I'd watch what you say. Seriously!

Hey Tricky, it's great to see you again. I'd love to see more content from you, regardless of the format. Your StS content is great and I'll gladly watch more, but I'd also love to see you try different things from time to time. See what's fun for you and what works for your audience. If you need suggestions for StS - there are a lot more great mods out there, which you haven't tried (on your channel at least): The newest downfall character (the collector), the prismatic, the packmaster, spire biomes and a lot more. Also there have been a few games which you might wanna check out: Mori Carta or Wildfrost come to mind for me. You've also mentioned making video essays, which I'd also like to see. Personally I think regardless of what you make, you've gained a lot of viewers which are here mostly here for you and not for the game itself. Also I'm calling it now: When StS2 comes out, your channel will get huge. It's insane how good you are at the game and people will find your channel and stick around. Sorry this got a bit long, I don't usually write yt-comments, but I was really happy to see you uploading again!

Always loved the Wraith Form beta art! I think you nailed it when you said you will come back to the channel in whatever way that you want to. At the end of the day, regardless of any one video that you upload being "good" for the channel or not, you're guaranteeing that each video is good for YOU. Uploading something that you want to share will ultimately be what drives the most fulfillment to you. Beyond that, I think most of the people watching these videos are happy to see anything from you at all, so you're in a position to experiment with it comfortably. I'm mid-career change myself, it's a wild ride out in the "real world." I'd be interested to hear more about what your experience has been with your career path.

Honestly good for you getting out of there. It takes a lot of guts to live with a conscience, and while things might seem pretty chaotic right now, if you focus on what you can do and what feels right to you I'm sure you'll make it with whatever you choose. Maybe set up a patreon if youre going the serious creator route

I've been a civil engineer for 20 years. If a company let you go for raising ethical concerns that will hurt the buisness in the long run then you are better off not working for a short sighted company. Find a job you don't hate working with people you respect and that respect you. It may take several tries, but eventually you will find a good place to spend your career.

also Tricky you look very handsome today but about your career, just keep looking. Lots of jobs for engineers (or whatever else you want to become) and many of them are incredible. TRUST ME there are awesome jobs out there: high paying jobs, jobs that make the world better, cushy jobs, spiritually uplifting jobs, blow jobs, whatever you want, you just need to keep trying. The search isn't easy by any means, and it takes years, but I promise you it's there. for the love of god don't try to do youtube as a career
