Gallbladders help you digest a lot of things like fat, so you can survive without it but you do have to adjust your diet to make up for not being able to eat as many kinds of things. Still not being able to eat greasy pizza in exchange for not being sick and in pain all the time is a pretty good deal.

Well. Technically the gallbladder is just storage. The liver produces the fat digesting substance and it gets stored and released to the digestive track by the gall bladder. Without the gall bladder the substance can't get released as controlled as if it's still there and it's indeed more difficult to digest fat at large amounts as the the liver has to produce on the fly instead of the gallbladder releasing the stored "fat digesting juice"

@annasstorybox7906 thank you for the further explination. I had indeed missed some parts of how it works.

I've had my gallbladder out and I can still eat the same foods I did before - it's just that if it's fatty/greasy, I can only eat a little bit of it. So like, one slice of pizza instead of 3, can still have a burger but not fries with it, or fries if I don't eat a burger, that kind of thing. And honestly I probably could still eat the same amount of grease and fat as I did before, as long as I do it very slowly. Like, over the entire course of the day I could probably eat a whole pizza. I just have to give the first slice some time to settle in there before having another one. That's why, when I go out to eat at a restaurant, I usually end up boxing up about 3/4ths of it to bring back with me, lest a catastrophe strike in the car on the way home.

7:15 She may have been a "lay midwife," who doesn't have certification / licensing. I had my kid 24 years ago with a certified nurse midwife (RN level nurse with additional midwifery training) who was under the supervision of an OB/GYN doctor's office, and baby was born in a hospital. Best of both worlds: very little intervention as was my preference, and in the safety of a hospital where immediate higher level care could be given if things started to go wrong. All to say midwives can be a great choice if your health / low risk pregnancy permits; but there are different levels of education among them and moms need to be aware and choose wisely.

32:00 Pro sports leagues have similar lists of dangerous activities that are violations of your contract. The risk is always there that you could get injured playing hockey, but they don't want additional risks to prevent you from doing your job. For instance, Robert Kubica was an F1 driver and he decided to participate in a rally car race in the offseason and crashed leading to severe injuries including a partial amputation of his forearm. He missed almost two years from any form of racing and didn't make it back to F1 for six years (though that was in a testing/reserve role) and didn't race in F1 for eight years. James Sheppard was playing hockey in the NHL, and during the offseason (randomly 14 years ago today) he crashed an ATV and fractured his patella. His contract was suspended because of a "no ATV riding" clause in his contract. He was able to eventually begin playing again but he missed almost two seasons healing from his injury (played four minor league games in the second season).

Pictures. I think prioritizing what your taking pics of is good. The foods cool sure, but you can get it again, take your pictures with the friends or family your there with instead.

As I mentioned last time this video was posted: a philly sidecar is the term for people having intercourse with an ostomy site and I don't remember where I learned it, but it came with a story of someone, a homeless man I think, offering a philly sidecar for money. Pretty sure it was a reddit list of some sort.

On the first part, I’ve been misdiagnosed twice, once when I was very young, the second one I was about 12, the long in the short of it is is that doctors didn’t know what they were looking for and so I didn’t think to assume that all the different things I had going on with me fit under one umbrella. it was only when I was 21 and a pediatric Genesis put all the pieces together that I was finally diagnosed properly. But that is a common factor with the condition I have, it is not knowing where to find the evil in the haystack, it is knowing that there is an needle to find in the first place. As for that last piece about the lazy man stereotype? my mom and I see a lot of people out with her kids, doing things with her kids, and we don’t think that mom got a day off, no we’re probably the father is actually taking time to be with his children and do his job. My father never did, so the concept are having a loving fatherhood taught you things, showed you things, spent time with you, me full-time with you, it’s a concept that doesn’t exist for me. It’s not I don’t think it ever happened, I do think that can happen, I’ve seen it with other people, but that’s not what my father was.

My hair is very fine and blonde and it does not like being brushed like at all I have to brush it from the tips with a wide tooth comb or a very sparse bristle brush and I can't brush mine wet but it must be done delicately and I typically do not brush it more than a light shake out or it just gets shredded
