What I wouldn't give for the ability to play this on the piano myself, so I could karaoke-style it! An amazing song from a *brilliantly* talented composer and performer! Have had this stuck in my head for weeks now, driving my roommates crazy singing it. What I wouldn't have given to have this around back when I needed audition pieces... :D

One of my fav song from greg. Just transcribing this for personal use. Its not 100% accurate but hey its 90% there. @@leif1075 What indeed. I definitely have an idea of what it means in my head, but its an invented phrase. Not something I usually do with my lyric, but this character is so verbose and articulate that I gave him permission to make up his own nuances terms and phrases. I don't really hear this song too often, but sometimes when I do, I think "maybe I should change that..." but I kinda like the cockiness of it all. He's so brave in his little private mind palace. :D

Why are his lips and the lyrics out of sync? Sometimes his lips are moving and there's no singing. Sometimes there's singing and his lips are still. Most of the time there are both, but they're mismatched.

Is there a particular time that you see that?

Just watch the video. When his mouth isn't obscured by the microphone, there are times when his lips are moving and the sound or syllables aren't changing. Just focus on that instead of his good looks, great smile, clever lyrics, etc. Btw, I re-watched this, and the out-of-sync seems less pronounced (no pun intended) than before. I don't know how that's possible.

Out of thousands of videos I've watched, I've had this problem on only this video and another one of your videos: Gregory Nabours "Before the Fall" (mostly)musicals #8: Lights UP! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnfIpZ5_mtufq8k yesterday. That suggests the problem is not at my end. If something has changed on my system to cause this, I should be seeing or will soon see the problem on other videos.
