My parents used to go here. I was too young to remember anything about it before it closed, but my dad always raved about the place.

@@Clarkie1 lol sorry, I was thinking of WESTBORO speedway, not Flamboro. We went there when we lived in that area of Massachusetts before it closed, then ended up in Canada for a time- where we found Flamboro. Great little tracks.

I still cannot get over that “Jukasa Speedway” closed yet again formally “Cayuga Speedway”. As most know the owner passed away & he spent a lot of money on it with digging up the old surface & paving a new track with new walls & fencing + a bit more banking & new pit road, new LED lighting among many other things but damn was it ever top notch. The owners payouts were amazing for the pro late model division with starting out at $25,000 to win i believe it was & the purse kept going up every year & i believe it was the 3rd or 4th year that the purse was $75,000 to win the 200-250 lapper pro late model race & it attracted a handful of American drivers such as #26 Bubba Pullard who won all 3-4 races taking home a lot of money but even though the Canadian dollar is nothing compared to the American dollar & Bubba lost quite a bit of money by turning it into American dollars but he was still taking home a good chunk of cash for a pro late model race which don’t pay out that kind of cash normally. The last pro late model race at Jukasa paid $75,000 Canadian so that still works out to be roughly $55,000 American so not to shabby still.

Stock Car Racing has gone from the weekend warriors racing Saturday night to travelling series. Not sure how to reduce the cost of racing. Gone are the days of one track racing against another track. The.biginner classes have even become expensive
