Saw this line up several times in the early 80s. My ears are still ringing. Always saw Motorhead as proto punk, like MC5 and Pink Fairies, rather than metal. Anarchist tendency. Lemmy said he wanted Motorhead to sound like MC5. First half dozen albums were great.

I went to see Motorhead at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in 1979. I love local history & went to explore some dusty rooms above the front lobby before the gig. In one, I found a canister of wheat, a left-over from the days when the building was used, pre-1940, for the trading of grains & seeds. I took a small handful as a souvenir & when Motorhead came on later that evening I put the wheat on the enclosure in front of the main speaker stack at one side of the stage. When I went to get it during the second encore, it had been milled in a fine, white flour. That's how loud they were....

This is exactly the reason, why I' was searching for this particular recording. I was just turned 12 when it was aired, and to this time I played my holy AC/DC-Highway to hell up and down again, a little bit Kiss and Queen. That was the reason for me to turn on the TV: Queen came up with a new song named "Flash" in this show. When I saw Motörhead, right before Queen, it blew my head. It was one of those moments "Fuck yeah, that's it!!!"
