Theme: How To Increase In What You Do Scriptural References: Proverbs 27:20-27 Flocks (sheep and goats) and herds (cattle and other animals) are what you have to make your life productive. They're stocks, wealth, etc. Flocks and herds represents the following: 1. Our Vocation - What we do Our vocation is the things that occupies our time and attention. 2. Our company - where we work Our company is the organisation we work for, whether owned or employed. Anyone who is able to pay you every month deserves your full time prayer. 3. Our reputation - how others see us Proverbs 27:23 Be diligent to know means to: Know (notice, listen, learn) the state of your flock; have a first hand experiential knowledge about your flock and herd. Pay attention to and be aware of the voices and faces of your flock. Attend to them means to stand ready at attention and be always ready to serve no matter the inconvenience. Why Should We Take Care of Our Flocks (Because means....) 1. Money can easily be wasted or loss. When you seek for money without diligently working for it, you will waste it. If you make money easily, you will waste it frivolously. If you pursue money without work and labor, you will waste it easily. 2. Position and privileges are not enduring. You must justify your inclusion for every position and privileges you are entrusted with. Let every ministry opportunity be a test to determine your security in the pulpit. Don't accumulate titles because it is totally irrelevant for your future; let your work speak for you. Make it your lifelong goal to justify the position and appointments you are giving in your lifelong journeys.
