I ordered my first Motability car last week. I went for the Nissan Ariya EV. I’m getting the free Easee charger fitted in a few weeks but not getting the car until July-Aug hopefully. Congratulations on your new car matey hope your not waiting long for it to arrive 👍

Take a look at the Peugeot 3008, no extra charges, all of the things he said were extras come as standard, you shouldn't have to compromise because it costs more, it's very spacious, comfortable and a dream to drive, and you feel secure with the wrap around console.. All the research I've done on other SUV's available, look ok there's always too many but's and they just don't feel so good.. so I'm going to be ordering my 3rd 3008 very soon..

I have a Ford Puma ST X black colour. I love my car so big and spaces. I did get the parking pack it cost me £900 i do you the self parking mode a lot😂

It's a great car I love driving it! Oh wow you got the parking pack, I'm coping okay without it.... Self parking mode sounds amazing though, I can't lie!

I can't see Hyundai Kona as an option, when I went they said that wasn't available on motability unless you ordered it a while ago and they've since stopped doing it.

Looking at getting the Seat Arona FR Sport tomorrow for mum £499 advance for that model which is worth it. Big enough for her wheelchair in the back and a little higher for comfort and ease of getting in and out then what I currently have. Also comes with a fair amount of tech. Hope you enjoy your new car when it arrives. ☺️👍

Nice car that, was a little small for me and my type of wheelchair... The height definitely is a plus. Big fan of seat loved the ATECA but the deposit was just too much for me. Thank you mate, I am really looking forward to it. ☺️

I've been following your videos for the past few weeks and they've been a joy to watch, really helpful and friendly especially with myself and my mum being new to getting a motability vehicle. After looking at 3 different cars we've decided this is the best and nicest and ticks the boxes mums wheelchair folds up so will fit in. The Alteca is lovely but a bit pricey and a bit larger than I'd like for ease of parking. The puma you've chosen looks lovely and I agree with your mum about the colour, ashame they charge £800 for a reversing camera that's pretty standard on most cars these days, even the entry levels but still the car will suit your needs and ford is reliable. ☺️👍

Good Video, I wish you all the best in your new car, when you get it. Have you ever considered asking for a grant from Motability the charity (not Motability Operations who lease the cars) for something like a reversing camera as an optional extra, or towards a higher speck car that comes with the things you absolutely need but comes with a higher Advance Payment, if it is an aid to your disability.

£800 for the reversing camera pack is ridiculous. It's one of the things that put me off the Puma that it doesn't come as standard. It should do for me, especially if you're looking at the higher spec models. I'd prefer to have the reversing camera just for ease. I'm currently learning to drive with the same controls as you. I have CP. Looking at different car manufacturers. Looking at Peugeot at the minute. The Puma does look a good car though. Hope everything goes well for you buddy 👍

I know right it is a lot of money and on top of what the deposit is already. I like you, think it should be, a standard feature especially in 2023! On a top spec model. I'm secretly hoping it's one of the things they decide to change on it when I get mine. 😂😜 Never had a Peugeot but I did learn to drive in a couple of 206's. Hope you're having fun learning to drive... It's one of the best thing in the world for me.

@@JustRollinThruLife Lol. I hope they do change it for you. I've checked out a couple of your other driving/motability videos and I have to say you do an awesome job 👏 keep up the good work. I'd be interested to see your thoughts on the Puma when you get it. Was surprised to see you change from Seat to be honest. Did they give you an idea on how long before it will be ready? I'm currently learning in a Yaris. Been having lessons for just under a year. Had a bit of a love hate relationship with driving if I'm honest. Felt invincible to start with and then the mistakes and doubts start to creep in. I'm not a million miles away but need to get to a point where I'm confident in being able to be consistent. I was always told I'd never be able to manage driving so I'm never fully confident in lessons. To be honest getting my provisional was just a f**k it moment. When my partner passed who has autism I began to look into the different controls and consider it more seriously. Determined to get it done in 2023 though. I could do with saving some money on lessons! 😂 As for peugeot, I just think they're great looking cars. Much better than they used to be. Interiors look awesome, very modern and plenty of space too! Looking at either the 308 or 2008. All the best buddy! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your journey 😊

Thank you so much... honestly means the world when people enjoy what I do and it helps them and/or entertains them. Oh there will definitely be vlogs on the Puma once it arrives.... (Probably around a 6 months wait) but I'm okay with that. The confidence will come.... It's funny but honestly playing car games on my playstation with a steering wheel helped me. I might find a Peugeot dealership near me and make an episode on what the offer 😉.

@@JustRollinThruLife You're more than welcome buddy. 6 months isn't too bad I guess especially given the challenges with semi conductors etc. Looking forward to seeing the vlog. What steering wheel did you use for the games? I'm a granturismo guy. I grew up with it. I have 7 on the PS5 but have always been cautious about getting a wheel because I can't use the pedals well enough. What's your setup if you don't mind me asking? That would be an interesting video on peugeot. Check out some of the reviews on KZbin. Might be worth considering in three years when the Puma goes back. Their interior blows Ford out of the water for me. The only concern I have is that the steering wheel is quite small and dependent on your seating position it can block the view of the instrument dials. That's something I'll have to look into. From the look of the jazz, I would say that the puma is bigger in my opinion. Also seats are great cars but the arona... Definitely to small for me.

I think you can change it... But it seems to be a bit awkward, they have to cancel one order and then reorder it new with whatever features you want... At least that's the way it comes across. Atm waiting lists are around 6 months at best guess.

How long did you wait on the puma? We are in the same area, I went to view it on Monday for my first motability car (I'm learning to drive currently) how are you getting on with it? Favourite features? Gutted about reversing cameras and electric boot opening and closing not being included! Curious that he mentioned a sunroof being included on the vignale... can you confirm this ? I went to the same showroom but you seem to of been told different features

Hey thanks for your comment ☺️. So I am currently still waiting for the Puma, wait times are longer atm in the world we currently live in. I know the reverse camera for me was a bummer, but no way am I paying £800 more on top.. it's a madness! I plan on going back to a ford dealership and filming a little more so I can check on the things you have asked then... He did say about a sunroof you are right .... When I Google it, it says... 'The Puma is available with a full-length panoramic roof that completely replaces the steel roof panel. This lets natural light flood into the car to create a light and airy interior.'

From what I can see online the ford puma is sold in France yes... I'm not sure however on schemes if any that they have for disabled drivers.
