I watched Celtic control Madrid at home, Atelti, Lazio and more over the last two years, but we lacked that cutting edge or intelligence to get those games over the line. But after two tough seasons in the CL you could see that experience being put to good use last night, there were moments in the game Celtic were unusually patient. Celtic cannot go out and spend like English prem clubs, but thankfully they recruit better than them. I’ve not seen any Scottish team with that kind of quality sitting in their bench before

Honestly to anyone down south who wonders, Joe didn’t just come up here for a little trophy day and we love him just cos he played at world cups (which is impressive) he came up here and he was 💯 professional and respectful , he bought into the ethos of the club and the community , he was outstanding with the youth and other first team players and also other teams players , he was also damn good on the pitch and tbh I don’t think I’ve seen a player fall in love with the club so much so quick and a fan base fall for a player so quick , he is 💯 a celt forever . 💚

I describe it as sensible Angeball. I loved the chaos and “headlessness” of Angeball but this type of fixture had the potential to end 5-4 or even 5-5 under Ange. It’s a more regulated and strict, we’re not as risky and a little more conservative but it makes all the difference in these games.

Doubted Rodgers at first, I wasn't public about it because thats not how you treat a new manager, but I had many a rant about how he'd taken a treble winning side and turned it into a passive side ways passing team which relied on sneaking through games 1-0 and 2-1, but he's got them playing brilliantly now, the energy from Ange's reign is back, the press is relentless, Kyogo's back scoring goals for fun, and like Joe says he's put his stamp on the team, he's brought in his own players and he's got them playing what I think is a more measured, disciplined style than Ange uses - the same aggression up front is there but they've got the capacity to be conservative when it's needed - I can gladly say he's shut me up comprehensively and I can't wait to see what he can acheive over the next few seasons

Celtic win their 4 home games and beat Zagreb that's 15 points. A draw in Dortmund and a win a Villa park is not out of reach of the scottish Champions. I think Celtic's game against Atalanta will be a game too far for us. The rest of the games we can get points in them. Finishing in the top 24, is very doable.
