True. What we have been told is figurative and like parables. We don't know if we will be in an eternal state of celestial ecstasy or if we will be able to move around and meet family and friends and have a celestial social life. As it says in the Bible "life at death is not taken away but changed." But we don't know the manner of this change.

@bob Because these are man made Religions that do Not align with the word of God. Religion is going to send people to hell with all the man made teaching added to God's word. I have so many scriptures that show Catholics are going against God's word and breaking commandments praying to Mary. This world is so lost. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Jesus is God. It's a Relationship in our Hearts with Jesus not a man made Religion. Non of this Religion stuff is in the Bible, Christians are the closest Though the Churches are doing it so wrong and going against the word of God with graven images on the wall, confessing to a priest when we should confess to Jesus in private etc.

You didn't read about the authority given to the true church of Christ thay he gave to them before he goes back to heaven bud???? 😂😂😂😂 that's where you find this new laws/tradition in the true church of Christ will be approved in heaven even if it's not literally can be read in the bible, that's the power of the true church! Pretty cool huh😊 Protestants always growling about that because they are fake church in the first place so they could not do things like these, they could not even produce genuine saints from their church! The reason is because they're only man made and it's not founded by Christ! Christ tells us in the bible that a tree cannot produce a fruit different from it's kind, so does also happen to the legion of Protestants, they're not holy because their founder is not holy, so they could not produce holy saints/individuals! Unlike the true church of Christ where Christ(founder) is holy and therefore many fruits of it from over 2000 years since the time it was preached by the apostles produced many holy saints/individuals also! From ashes you came, to ashes you will return. Jesus prayed & fasted in the desert for 40 days. It's in scripture, & it can allow your relationship w/ Jesus to deepen. Catholics practice/focus what Jesus, imitators, for 40 days & Easter is 50 days, yet somehow, protestants lie that Catholics don't love Jesus. Peace be with you, as you journey thru this season to prepare you to celebrate our risen Lord, at least thru Pentecost.
