I love how the baboons come to the rescue of their own, they are very courageous and gutsy animals who will take on animals bigger than they.

But they dont. They are born cowards and need many to attack even small defenseless creatures, and often that fail at that. They don't rescue their own, they kill each other over who eats first. They use their own infants when they get in fights with each other, often ending with a dead babby (which the narrator said the male didn't understand why the dead infant was non-responsive.) And I didn't have to make anything up - legit documentaries put up the info and National Geographic is one of the best, if not the best itself.

John Holmes bruh baboons eat children if it isn’t there own, they rip apart there prey rather than finish it off, and a lot of times they are all around a predator. They may be just another animal but I’d honestly be more scared of seeing them in the wild than a lot of other animals!!!

If the males let her drink from their waterholes then the babby would be alive. This clip was from The Last Feast of the Crocodiles and it shows how greedy males drain water from their homes and deny everyone else. Their selfish greed killed that babby and snapped the mothers arm - then the dead babby was retrieved and the mother left it, then a male took it away and ate it, so don't go thinking that baboons are peaceful things - they are violent, selfish, gluttonous rapist bullies, and it really explains why they are classified as lesser primates, because baboons are the least.

FYI....That was not the mother, that was the alpha male. I've seen the documentary to this. It's called "The Last Feast of the Crocodiles". It's really good! The mother got attacked by another croc during this incident but she was able to get away. The mother couldn't help her baby even if she wanted to because her arm was badly ripped. The baboon that TRIED to save the baby was the alpha male.

@@Paclaicidian3000 I think most people know animals don’t act with malevolence, they’re all just trying to survive. Even so, people really relate to clips of animals of any kind displaying traits similar to our own, such as parents loving their child and risking their life to try and rescue them. The example of baboons eating an animal alive would provoke similar feelings, it’s contradictory/complicated but most people don’t want to see ANY animal eat another animal and sympathise with the animal attacked/killed in every situation, rather than being bias for one animal in all circumstances.
