What a kind & tender-hearted Boutique "Manager" this young lady is. After adopting & caring the 1 Kitty she rescued, she wants to adopt her Mama Cat too because she "promised" her kitty. Yay they're so gorgeous! What a wonderful job the mother cats did for their kittens stuck in there with no food, and what caring wonderful ladies who heard them and paid attention and cared to call a rescue team, and feed them, And what a wonderful job the rescue team did efficiently getting all of them! Gosh very well thought out!!! I would love it if the mother cats got adopted with their children and each other, but trap neuter release is also a good option for wilder or independent cats. Right now i'm in a similar situation, a week ago i heard a crying in My roof and oh surprise, a kitten is living there. Now i'm feeding him/her through a small Hole but i have no idea How to rescue him/her. And i'm really worried because here (Chile) we are aproaching winter with temperatures droping below zero... 😭

I don't know if Chile has any TNR groups (Trap, Neuter, Return), but if there are, you could get a trapping cage from them. Otherwise, you can use a normal cat carrier and a rope to tug it shut (use a camera to monitor). Unfortunately, you'll likely have to cut a square hole in your ceiling. Lay down a tarp, move food out of the room, and use a ladder to reach the ceiling. Be sure there are no electrical wires near where you are cutting. A reciprocating saw should work well, but a standard hand saw will work in a pinch (but it will take longer). When you've rescued the little fluff ball, you can patch the hole back up by installing a new board between the ceiling boards, screwing the plaster into the new board, and filling the gaps on the edge with spackle. Oh, and don't forget safety goggles and an N95 respirator; plaster and insulation isn't good for your eyes or your lungs. Good luck to you and the kitten.
