I fully agree re your view on fireworks. In addition, they also pollute the air. And together with all the bonfires we are having, not just on bonfire night but a LONG time prior and after the event, I can’t remember having been outdoors in my end of the woods, without having to breathe smoke-filled air. It totally spoils the very few sunny autumn days we get. All the loud noise and smoke makes me feel like living in a war zone. I am so worries about the wildlife, the environment, vulnerable people and pets.

I agree about the fireworks. We have in the Netherlands fireworks on New Years Eve at 12 to celebrate the New Year but from Christmas people set off fireworks and it drives me up the wall, so unfair to the animals

You’re lucky you’ve only been hearing the fireworks since Halloween! They’ve been going off since way before that here and it’ll no doubt be intermittent even after in the run up to and on New Year’s Eve! Ridiculous things and my golden retriever is so petrified he went and hid behind the sofa the other day! He’s 7 and gets more and more scared as he gets older! I have used the primark bags to wrap presents before! They’re great!

I agree about fireworks... my late dog hated them. Luckily Iggy my 2yr old Cockerpoo is OK with them, but there are 1000's of dogs and animals who absolutely hate them, aswell as people with PTSD, autism. For some reason I don't like the noise anymore whether its to do with my Fibromyalgia, M.E or something else, so there are people/children who just don't like the noise. The big supermarkets are selling silent fireworks so if you do want them, please buy those. It was like WW3 here yesterday but I believe it was my neighbours just proving a point as they are just horrible. 😢

I would like to see a total ban on the sale of fireworks in supermarkets & corner shops altogether! Make it law that you have to have a licence to purchase them specifically for an organised event held on the w/e nearest to bonfire night with a min spend of £50 then teenagers prob wouldnt be able to get them.....that way everyone who wants to go & enjoy them can & people that have pets can let them out in their gardens late at night for a wee without the fear of a neighbour letting them off & scaring the shit out of everyone!!!! AND make them all silent!!!!!.....its not hard or rocket science to implement then we all know where we are!!! 🤬😤 sorry girls.....rant over!!!!
