Wow!!!! I love that she couldn't describe her garden when asked. She said she just keeps planting. This is the most free spirited profusion of colors and form. I absolutely love its magic. This is really beautiful and inspirational. I have so. many questions: are the riots of colors intentional? Or does she plant things anywhere they want them? I’ve read that planting on top of a trees roots can be damaging to the tree. Can someone please address this because I’d love to do something like this. Thanks

I think it would be fine to plant, as long as leaving some space, not planting right next to the trunk. It would also depend on the type of trees, it is very hard to grow things under maples, or evergreen, they either take too much moisture, or allow too little sun, making it very difficult for other plants to survive.

Beautiful garden but the guy talks too much. Let the owner give the narrations of her plants and why she chose them. This is so annoying when the interviewer ta;is way too much. 😏
