Mother demands transparency after son stabbed to death in Georgia prison

Martel Dorsey, 34, of Atlanta, died Nov. 24 while in custody at Calhoun State Prison. His mother said he was stabbed to death by a group of inmates.

Man, as someone looking at potential time myself if found guilty of a crime I didnt commit, this is low key scary. I hope someday soon Americans stand up for what we were told we deserve, true freedom and prosperity for all. Godspeed everyone. I hope his family gets something from the jail system for this.

Sad due say due to the lack of reform stabbing is normal in prison. Prison reform is needed. Sometimes on holidays other prisoners be going through it and they’ll attack a happy person w a family he was probably killed of simple jealousy 😢😢

Lady, you think those inmates care what they think when you said “You gave your life away” ? A lot of these delinquents in prison are already doing life without parole so what do they got to lose? Like Big Dragon from beyond scared straight said “ You’re not gonna have all these cops to protect you eh…you gonna be in a cell with just me and you.” And he even said getting into a brawl in prison is “Mandatory”. So yeah…you better watch your back at all times while locked 🔒 up.

This is sad, but let's not forget he was in for violating probation. This man did not care about law or consequences. Probably lipped off and ended up where he ended up. This is sad, but let's not portray this as some accident or some failure. If you don't want to be shanked in prison, don't go to prison. Prison is a very dangerous place. Always has been
