For everyone saying she's copying Glam and Gore, Mykie introduced the Disney Princess series to her channel four months ago. Kat did her Beauty and the Beast Twisted Makeup tutorial (which I think was the first one of her "creepy twists") in 2014. Yeah this is kind of like Glam and Gore's Tangled video but it's a different character and no one seems to be mentioning how her poisoned Snow White tutorial came out earlier this year and Kat's came out in 2015. I mean, if we're going to split hairs here...

Just to help head off any nasty comments about copying Glam&Gore, Mykie already said she and Kat talked about the similar series and tried to coordinate to avoid duplicating looks. That said, I'm blown away by the first portion of this - Kat's transformation skills are getting eerily good, she really nailed the eye/nose area of Mother Gothel, which is kind of key to her look. Those contacts would be awesome for other creepy looks, zombies and ice queens and such, and they're actually kinda' pretty.

Oh ok. Yeah, I went to cheak it out, she TOTALLY is copying Kat Sketch! It's not a big deal but if she got her inspiration from her, she should have said so in order to prevent this. Because Glam and Gore started to do the disney princess 4 months ago while Kat has been doing this for quite a few years. Though I think her first princess was about 1 or 2 years ago. Not sure about that. But I know she isn't copying Glam and Gore!

+Rozen Castor Glam and Gore actually filmed a lot of her videos ages ago -one in particular being over a year. And no one is copying anyone. Mykie and Kat actually spoke to one another to discuss what videos they're doing, to avoid being too similar. they're both happy with the videos each other has uploaded. Unrelated to most of the video: has anyone else tried the foundation brush she used? I thought those types of brush seemed a little gimmicky at first, but people rave about them. I've been addicted to a Beauty Blender and the Real Techniques dupe because it's *so fast* in the morning before work, but I'm getting frustrated. My skin is acne-prone so I wash the sponge after every use and I try to make sure to get it fully clean each time, but just the squeezing and massaging motion seem to be wearing them out quickly. I feel like the brush hairs would stand up better to washing, and I've heard these are supposed to act like the Beauty Blender/dupes. Thoughts? Experience? Thanks!

Kat isn't copying Mykie and Mykie isn't copying Kat. Mykie stated in another video that when she first ever started filming her Disney Princess videos, she knew Kat was doing similar videos, so the two contacted each other and discussed their ideas so they wouldn't bring out the same idea or anything too similar all the time. :)
