The parent owl seems to have only one baby.

This mother had 3 babies. The other one was asleep behind these two. A 3rd baby fell out of the nest and had to be taken to a raptor rescue and rehabilitation place..

I tired to borrow a baby owl and the mother must have heard me (it was at night) and dive bombed me all the way back to the car! She was so rude! Big feet too!
