He was raised by a bullying, loud, obnoxious, condescending, accusatory mother who never made a mistake in her entire life and who mentally and verbally abuses him even into adulthood; he was raised by an chronically angry, verbally and physically abusive father who is cold, distant, unforgiving, temperamental and emotionally vacant. Did they really expect a strong, independent, self-directed, emotionally self aware, courageous, protective son to grow from that venomous upbringing?

这婆婆和媳妇也是误会一场，那个小姨真恶心，但那个爹听不咋地，来来回回他嘴里说的就是面子，就好像只要他家有面子，儿子生活幸福不幸福无所谓，所以说老一辈讲求门当户对也没啥不对。还有华人这种儿女结婚，父母就来掺和的行为真是该改一改了，完全不妥，又不是农村，没有开化，都二十一世纪了，学学人家欧美国家，自己孩子的日子就让他们自己过，好坏自己承担，他们都是成年人，又暴U是未成年，还需要监护人吗?他们孩子都有了，他们是监护人，好吧?看着一对夫妻的家庭，公公婆婆，老丈人丈母娘都来插一脚真的烦死了，你觉得我占你便宜，我觉得你占我便宜，又不是你们搭伙过日子子女觉得好就行，愿意你们就心甘情愿帮一把，不甘愿就不要帮，华人家庭父母说着伟大，无私，其实都很自私，我为子女做牛做马，但你们得跟我签卖身契，你们必须听我的，扪心自问该说自私还是无私?

She said "You can't protect me" I and I disagree with that statement. He is fully capable of protecting her but he chooses not to. He wants to try and appease everyone instead of doing what he should as a Man, Husband, Father and Son. He should understand that once he married, his wife becomes the number one person in his life and his parents go down in the pecking order. Then when he has a child the parents go down again in the pecking order. His mother just told him that he is pathetic and weak and she is correct. But the problem is that he got that way being raised by her and her husband. He has been so indoctrinated by his parents that he just can't see anyway out of this family.
