Over reacting to the whole situation , this kind of Ulma e Sue are the reason, people go for Depression and ultimately towards suicide, he ought to tell him, that indeed he has committed a great Sin but since it's not a Shirk, So, ask forgiveness from ALMIGHTY ALLAH and Start Reciting ASTIGHFAR on regular basis. And give Donations (Sadqa e Jaria) on behalf of his Parents. ALMIGHTY ALLAH will certainly forgive him ( INN SHA ALLAH).
