@YourAverageAsshole Acoustic drums. I'm laughin my ass off. That's funny shit. But I know what you're sayin. I too consider this to be an acoustic version of the song. That synth line adds a lot to the piece and without it, it just wouldn't be the same. Just look at Nirvana's MTV's Unplugged DVD. How many pickups are on that guitar? It's all about emotion and what pleases the ear and what's going to work best for particular songs. Who gives a shit about cliched structure. Make it sound good.
