He was just reading the verse from the Quran, he also admitted he PERSONALLY would act a certain way,he didn’t say the Muslim ummah should ie if he was in power in Palestine or neighboring country he would ask for a cease fire and what ever else he mentioned, he would give Israel 24 hours , then rather than watch Millions of his brothers die by this in-going war he would drop a Hiroshima bomb (if he had one at his disposal) to stop the fighting and achieve his goal. Marsha-Allah he has did so much Dawah when he was alive, he debated many a Christian and I personally think he left them standing. We all have our difference’s but if we can’t iron out issues between us as a people, what chance do we have uniting as the Muslim Ummah, he is on on our side remember after all . personally I understood what he meant AND he also admitted he was letting his emotions be effected,takes a big man to admit this.

Al hamdu Allah I thank Allah for the presence of this brother Deedat and pray to Allah that he show Mercy and favor to him for his life; truly meaningful for many. Even though, he's not here anymore in this physical life, he Left a great legacy as a great teacher in comparative religion. I will always love him and what I've learned from him. My heart goes out for the brothers and sisters who have been under attack from foreign countries or members of their own country, for whatever reason.To see their family members die, in fear for their own lives and safety every day with no ability to do anything about it feeling helpless; it's understandable for people to be in a heightened emotional state. These wars these killings have no reasonable purpose other than for land money or power through unreasonable Force. To be in their shoes I could never claim to have been so I can never understand their emotions totally but I know that it's senseless to be killed by power stricken men that have no reguards for human life. It is my opinion that our brother Deedat kept his reply in alignment with The Glorious Quaran the voice of Allah. In that book are the answers , and as Muslims we must know that Allah controls and everything will take its own course that we have no control over but in the end Allah is Victorious and the true followers will be rewarded for our patience and our belief in his (Allah) competency everything is Insha'Allah

My two cents. 1. We have to understand Quran's verses in their context and no cherry picking. 2. We as Muslim must understand that military means or violence are not the only ways to resolve the issues and injustices faced by Muslims. Certainly, there are many more soft ways available if we realise. 3. We must understand that non muslims are also servants of Allah and we must learn to survive and thrive in a global multicultural society by leading our lives based on Quran and Sunnah. 4. Nothing is permanent and so are the geographical boundaries on the world map as Allah sways power from one nation to another. 5. Remember that life is a test and we are tested in numerous ways so we have to have a holistic view of the challenges, injustices and hardships that life throws on us. 6. It is a bitter truth and surely no coincidence that in most of Muslim countries the governments by design pump hatred and emotions in their people on non issues or external issues and cash on those emotions to justify and perpetuate their rule while shockingly denying basic rights to their own people. This is the great injustice that has kept muslim countries across the globe at the bottom of human development index. The best way forward is patience and perseverance. The new muslim generations while being a model of "Iman and Character" should excel in education and science & technology and bring about gradual and peaceful change in their respective societies. 7. Stay away from people in disguise of clergy specially those who are hate mongers and promote sectarianism. Their job is to distract us and keep Muslims divided and fighting on non issues. 8. Unless we return to Quran and seek guidance from it we will remain directionless and divided. 8. As Muslim we all should return to Quran. Only Quran can guide and unite us as good human beings and free us from all the distractions, complexes, biases and disillusionment . Remember life is a test and it is too short. We are from Allah and to Him we return. May Allah guudes us all. Aameen.
