Life is precious, even if limited. I'm glad he met his family, was loved, played, and was given the degree of accomodations that his disability required. This is part of making a society inclusive.

I agree. While I don’t think they knew it would get as bad and inhumane as it did, and they hoped for a cure in his lifetime, personally I wouldn’t have had another kid. The risk would be too high and I’d appreciate the healthy child I DID have. I understand their hope though. If they knew exactly how bad it would get and still went ahead to have another kid, I’d be much madder at them, but it was their choice and now they have to live with the consequences of it. Im sure it haunts them

No I think it was good decision to have David so science can learn and save lives in the future...This was meant to happen in the journey to salvation with God...
