When Father talked about men loving our lady I remembers the beautiful day almost 40 years ago when my brother (big manly man) got married and the first thing he did after he was pronounced a husband was to go over to the statue of Our Lady in the church and kneel for a moment holding his new wife's hand as she knelt next to him, stand, place flowers on the altar and then walk out of the church. He still to this day loves Our Lady and shows her by kneeling at her altar every Sunday before Mass and dedicating his week to her Immaculate Heart.

I listened to this as I was on my way to the hospital with covid. I couldn't breathe and I was delirious. I was also all alone. this video kept me focused and grounded. I was in the hospital, feeling abandoned...and afraid. I asked Our Lady to be a mother to me and just then, a warm calm came over me and my gaze went to the corner..where I knew she was there. I did not see her, but felt her. thank you Our Blessed Mother for always being the perfect mom.

Our Lady is, definitely, the cause of any shabby love I have for God. In the scariest and pivotal point, in my life, it was not God I called upon, but Our Lady. It was, without any doubt, her intercession, her, showing up for me in my need, that saved me, literally, during a quite nearly perfect Suicide attempt. Dramatic, I know, but there we are...🙏

@@lakotafire2804 me too. My life has been a full one..always a little bittersweet, but besides the obvious spiritual blessings I’ve gotten to enjoy a beautiful daughter, friends I would trust with my life (no pun intended), and I’ve gotten to see much of the world and it’s cultures, archaeology, and the like. Our Lady provided, for me, ways I’m which to love god, grow in love, and spend my life with both suffering and joy hand in hand; without caving in to just suffering and despair. 🙏❤️

I am someone who has long suffered from things like depression, and it taught me to be self centered in my sufferings. And this would make my suffering worse, because I was so fixated on myself and my state. When I first heard father ripperger mention “offer it up”, I was filled with hope. I had previously thought I tried everything. Even medication and therapy didn’t completely relieve me. But when I started practicing this, accepting the suffering and giving that to God and to ask that I could use it to shoulder a bit of the burden of the souls in Purgatory, and asking those souls to help me suffer more perfectly, I found that first, it was more bearable. Then, I found that less things actually caused me suffering because I was less focused on myself. Finally, when I do suffer, the length of time I do so is much less. I think it’s because I only suffer as long as God seems necessary. Whereas in the past, I would prolong it for my own sake. To convince myself almost that life is as bad as I think and give myself permission to act accordingly. And to make myself believe I was deserving of all this grace from others, to become more blameless for my faults. But now I feel all the control that I actually have. Praise be to God.

Thanks again to Fr R for a great talk. I am very grateful to Father for mentioning that God does not forget our sins once we confess them - this has been bandied about in the last few decades and does not make sense at all. While God forgives and keeps us from damnation through confession, that is not the same as 'forgetting'. Reparation for sins must still be made by us until we die. [Like Mary Magdalene was forgiven, as said by Jesus Himself in Scripture, she still did severe penance living in a cave in France until she died. She was forgiven, but she also knew she needed to make reparation for her sins. ] God cannot change, cannot forget, as Father said. The Last Judgement where all sins are revealed and the results over time, people, and society will be revealed. If God forgot confessed sins, The Last Judgement would not occur. We are not to worry that we are not forgiven, but that is not the same as "God forgets". This whole problem has created an environment in the Church where we are not encouraged to make General Confessions [once regularly advised, especially before receiving a major sacrament, like marriage]. We are no longer encouraged to mention old confessed sins in confession - whereas confessing sins, whether confessed before or not, gets us the grace to overcome the sin we confess AND makes additional reparation for sins. Ignorant priests malformed in seminaries, accuse penitents of being scrupulous instead of allowing penitents to make additional reparation or help examine the conscience. And there may be a bit of laziness there - an anxious penitent may sense "something is wrong" and instead of helping a penitent, priests will squash efforts to mention confessed sins nor try to discover root causes of a problem. [scrupulosity is a real thing sure, but with the current environment of 'don't worry about old sins" much work is avoided]. Padre Pio and the Cure d'Ars would accuse penitents of forgotten sins. So additionally, making a thorough examinations of conscience, going back into one's youth, is valuable. Confessing sins reduces our risk of damnation and long times in Purgatory, or denies being able to make real reparation such as apologies or restoration to those we sinned against. [In the old Office a prayer is repeated "from my secret ones cleanse me"]. Father touched upon a pervasive problem that keeps people from taking the Sacrament of Confession seriously and using it to much better advantage.

I have since repented of this sin, but I want you to know to establish credibility. I was a 3rd degree master mason. I consider it one of the worst mistakes of my life. I knew the Church frowned on Freemasonry, but I wanted to learn more about the Hebrew roots of Christianity. The freemasons I met assured me that even some Priests were freemasons, and that you didn't have to give up your religion to join--AND that freemasonry itself was not a religion (they either lied or were wrong--it is ABSOLUTELY a religion). One day at a social event, some of the guys were saying that very thing, you don't have to give up your religion. And I said, well that's good because Jesus Christ will always come first for me. I am not exaggerating when I say that the entire room (or nearly) fell silent when I said that--NOT just the 3 or so guys I was talking to--the entire room. It was creepy. I looked around like...what? YOU WERE JUST SAYING... I was kidding myself. Freemasonry isn't just frowned upon by the church. They are at odds. Freemasonry may have had well-intentioned beginnings, but they are luciferic now. I found out the hard way. I confessed and repented of this. And later, I found out who the exorcist for our Archdiocese was. It's not easy to get to see these men. He assured me that I was not possessed, and I didn't think I was--but obsession and oppression are different matters. When I explained my past, he had me do some deliverance work--including re-affirming my Baptismal vows. Telling the story because of what Fr. Ripperger mentions in the beginning about feast days being removed. They were probably more essential than most of us realize.

Dear Keats27. I am the granddaughter of a 33 degree mason. I know this had an impact on my family and myself. Although a Christian for many years, I have recently begun discerning the Catholic Church. I confessed all personal sins I was aware of to my Priest. When I asked him about a possible bloodline curse due to this, he said not a problem since a certain date I didn’t catch but I believe he was most likely referring to Vatican II. He said it was only a problem now for those involved in Free Masonry. Do you have any insight on this? Thank you. Prayers.

@@annELLI I can tell you that my coach (person who helped me to memorize the oaths) offered me a copy of Morals and Dogma (a set of morals and dogma, from a group that practices rituals, hmm sounds like a religion to me). I can tell you that Albert Pike and Manly P. Hall both talk about a god that requires no "superstitious faith" because it is the "light of human intellect." See, you can become like the most high... Somewhere along the way, the Egyptian influence on Moses conflated with luciferianism and switched places with the the God of Moses. I should have stuck with the Catholic Church, but I wanted to learn more--maybe the sin of the tower of Babel, maybe it's a little St. Thomas in me--I don't know. Most freemasons (myself included at the time) have no idea that their new religion is pagan and satanic. I don't know anything about bloodline curses, but I have faith that Jesus sees right through that nonsense. If you believe there's an impact on you and your family, Father Ripperger or someone like him might be worth talking to. My local priests said similar things to me btw. They should be equipped for deliverance, but they don't seem very enthusiastic about taking the time. The exorcist from the archdiocese was much more understanding and helpful, and I am grateful to him and pray for him to this day.

One of THE✨Best talks on Mary I've heard in 50 yrs At times it >makes one's breath pauseIF< one tries to genuinely take in the truth-the reality- described by Fr. Ripperger. And (teaser, if you haven't heard it before), you'll think of/see >Our Lady and, also, >beauty in ways you Never perceived before.< And who'd ever imagine that demons (on rare occasions, when forced to) actually can give true insights on GOD, Mary and the workings of grace?!! Well, Fr. Ripperger IS a bona fide exorcist too, so maybe it's not too surprising he's heard things the rest of us haven't. A Polish priest, Fr. Glas, who used to be an exorcist, said that in ways he was thankful for it all because >it strengthened his faith: it no longer was "I believe..."; it became "I >know

The vows of poverty chastity and obedience are the primary ways the sacrificial life is made visible. Why have so many rejected the sacrificial life in the last 60 years? A choice of the charms of modernity, status , wealth or comfort over the reward over a life with the Trinity through the Mother of God. The beauty of selfless love is not a concept its a person.

I am not Catholic, I do however love our Lord, and I absolutely have nothing against his mother. And I would also think that our Lord would love his mother more than the average person, however listening to father, he says extraordinary things about her, and I don't have any problems with that even, but he comes dangerously close to suggesting that we go ahead and worship her too, and saying the things that he says, wouldn't you think that some of those things would have been in scripture? Other than being full of grace.

But they are there. Sole fact that She was chosen as a vessel of Incarnation is exactly that. What kind of creature She must've been that God wanted to be birthed by Her? And about adoration or even worshipping - remember what he ultimately says about Her. She's a mirror that is reflecting glory of God the Father. Whatever adoration you offer to Her and at Her is ultimately to what She's reflecting.

@@ericday4505 What you think is basically Catholic dogma of Immaculate Conception. It says that Mary was conceived without original sin as special grace from God. Then she was literally bombarded with additional graces and she never fell or even doubted. So yes - she was prepared beforehand. It is not like God looked for someone special woman, found Her and said "Imma go with it". God paved the way a long time ago. However, Mary is still human with all weight attached. So it still depended on heir choice, will and circumstances, she still suffered and had tremendous difficulties in her life, etc. But She always chosen Him.

My mother taught us always to offer up our suffering...ie the sacrifice being asked of us...united to the holy sacrifice of the mass in reperation for our sins and for holy souls ..Growing up in the 70's..no one I knew outside our household ever spoke that way. It was one of the best Catholic lessons of my life.

Fr.Ripperger love your sermons. The most beautiful people are the ones who are the closest to God. They radiant the love of God. You can see there glow in there skin, honesty in there eyes and joy in there smile because they know who they are and they reflect God's love. They are the simple, humble heart. Which is why Mary would be the most beautiful of all. She is full of grace and said Yes let your will be done. We would be nothing without Mary with her total trust in God's plans for her children. Also as a mother myself...I couldn't even imagine the suffering she went through seeing Jesus be humiliated in the worst death of her son that she loved so much right in front of her...ultimate sacrifice. This is why she is Queen of heaven 💙

So many of us probably believe that the Annunciation is the most glorious moment in salvation history. But to surrender completely to the Father's Will, standing at the foot of the Cross, was surely the greatest spiritual challenge for our Blessed Mother.
