one of the greatest LIVE bands EVER! I used to play drums and sing backup on this song in a band with a great female singer. Sheryl Keller, wherever you are, hon, I hope life has been kind to you.

My favorite MF song. The Another Mother Further cd got stuck in my car's cd player for over a month before it came out, and it didn't bother me at all. I just kept playing it. After it came out, a few days later I put it back in and listened to it some more. Such a great band. A friend's wife performed with them a couple of weeks ago.

I saw them at Champagne Jam in Atlanta, 1977, and they ROCKED IT. In my opinion, they were the BEST, and that is saying alot since there were many other awesome performers like Heart, Foreigner, Bob Seger, and many more.

Baby Jean Kennedy and the original line up were straight up bad ass! Chaka Khan had nothing on Baby Jean ;-) Saw them live in '77 and then again more recently and they can definitely still "bring it"!

Hello LC Watts! Without question TINA TURNER , Chaka Khan and "Baby" Jean are the best female singers. I saw Mothers Finest some years later and they were bad ass. The best male singer? I will not tell you. The Pruple Love Assistant
