Whether God takes me now or later does not matter to me. I am at peace. If I go through the tribulation than it is His Will for me. If I am saved in a refuge then that is what His plan is for me. One way or another I will be purified either within purgatory or here on earth. I just pray that do not end up in hell- immaculate heart of Mary pray for me.🙏🏻

Catholics do believe this as it is mentioned in Revelation in Scripture. It is just that we don't make it a big thing, or single it out to be the be all and end all of Christian life as the Evangelical Christians preach. We must always be ready like the 'wise virgins with oil in their lamps' mentioned in Scripture.

Yes there are many theories on the rapture and when/how it might occur. The Catholic Church does not teach a definitive explanation of the rapture, but you have the scripture she has read, you can read the church fathers interpretations of these. There is also an article on catholic answers that explains the various Protestant views of the rapture. Personally I just read the Gospels and book of Revelation over and over and note down and pray about the things the evangelists have told us to prepare for. Everything else, how it actually occurs, is in the Fathers hands, and knowing that I'll never fully understand it before it occurs is enough. The rest is to trust.
