Grew up listening to this song and not understanding. I am 36 now and this coming Sunday I will be preaching on revelation 21 - the inspiration for this song. May God be praised and may He help us to stay prepared and ready for the new Jerusalem by the power of His Holy Spirit and the free favour of His beloved Son Jesus Christ

Sometimes when you want to follow and for us who are not avid speakers or merely if you want to the "praise" you can change the speed of the song by the gear wheel and then choosing Custom and inputting your desired speed.. Usually listed to 'fast' gospel songs and make them worship songs by slowing them down. Again this song is so sweet and am sure will never grow old. So, thanks Mama and son. I chose the custom speed by just lowering the time signature by .05 to 0.95
