And there are air raids for days here», - Oleksander Balo, the town's mayor in the south of the Kharkiv region, tells us. The Russian military has been trying to advance to Barvinkove from Izium for more than a month in order to encircle the Ukrainian defense forces in the Donbas. However, during this time, the Russians were able to take control of only a few small villages on the way to the town. While the hardened soldiers who have seen so many murdered youngsters are becoming even more determined to survive and eliminate as many assassins as possible.
