@@FreeBicycleTours I was uncertain as well at first, but in the middle of the season there's an event that makes Scylla's intentions clear regarding Raelle and we also get to know more about her backstory. It's a marathon, not a sprint and you will have some moments of doubt until certain things happen :)

I was surprised about the sex scene too, but they're only 18 so it's not really a surprise that they're just going for it in my opinion :D Also, I think it was intentional to get them together quickly without getting to know each other for...reasons I won't mention here because of spoilers^^

Just having someone there who understood her in that moment. I DID want them to date too! Idk if it would work though in the long term, and the unit dynamic would change. I understand how some people dont get on board with the raelle/scylla ship, the first ep was very rush for their build up but with time and the feelings they habe against the military concept you will get a sense of why they connect and feel like they belong with each other. Its a ship that grows on you in a way...but I also ship raelle with tally lol

What's so crazy about it, is that they're the main couple/storyline, Raelle is my favorite & I think Scylla is the most complex & interesting character on the show. On one hand you ask yourself how you can love & ship them, but then Scylla just keeps growing on you even though you know she's kinda shady but the actress Amalia that plays her has these intense eyes & she really does suck you in with her charm. It really does just get better & better. I'd be shocked if you weren't on board by the end even though it might be so morally conflicting. lol

eventually you'll come to understand why we love Raelle and Scylla so much. Scylla is definitely a morally grey character, and Amalia, the actress for Scylla, has said there's very much an innocence aspect to her. Rae and Scylla are 18 and 19, so their growth through out the show will be very revealing and understanding to why we love them together. Good luck on your journey!

Their powers aren't "psychic", they are vocal. That includes learning to use them in a sub-vocal way. So it looks like Anacostia is using her mind on Scylla it's more like the non-verbal (NVBL) Hogwarts spell or sometimes silently directing a canary cry at one person. When Raelle started basic training she had a death wish until Scylla started grooming her to get stronger.

Well FBT you and I are in the same boat as we have only watched the pilot for Motherland Fort Salem, but it made a strong first impression. It's a got a solid premise, alternate history supernatural hijinks and tight knit relationships. Witches in the Military is something I definitely want to seem more of, the squad are made strong impressions. There's dirt poor witch Raelle with a chip on her shoulder cause her mum was killed in combat. Overachiever Abigail with the burden of expectation cause she's from a old and vaunted witch family with ambition to be the best. Finally sweet and caring Tally, the voice of reason between her two headstrong squad mates who may well be the most surprising out of all out them. There's also the sergeant looking out for them making sure they don't get booted from the academy. General Alder, OG Witch and commander in chief who is pretty intense but fair and certainly no fans of snitches or nepotists it seems. Finally the mysterious Scylla, the Necro who takes a shine to Raelle, tripping on magic drugs and hooking up incognito. The fact that she is a spy for The Spree, the witch terrorists will make her relationship with Raelle very interesting going forward. Looking forward to watching this series as seeing it unfold as we both watch FBT, Freeform makes good shows for the youth, especially LGBT youth. Great reaction and see you later.

The time slots on the show are speed up, so Raelle and Scylla hook up happened after two weeks, and the reason why Scylla went for it was later explained Plus, she didn't expect that Raelle was gay or top so the sex part of her getting bottomed up the wall threw her off by surprise lol Raelle & Scylla relationship starts off hot and heavy & weird but it actually blossomed into epic star cross lovers trope.

Lol don't worry you're feelings towards the ship are 100% valid at this point ;) I binged it all in one go so I barely had time to process but I remember how I was apprehensive after ep 1 (and even in the following eps, I think it was only ep4 or ep5 where my feelings changed) and YES it felt SO RUSHED but I think that was intentional. Can't wait to see what you'll think of them in a couple of episodes!!! And damn yeah Tally is awesome and honestly I wouldn't have minded Raelle x Tally either ;)

It’s okay not to be “into it” from the very beginning. You can change your mind several times. Characters will grow and change all the way and it’s cool about this show. Thing to remember is that in one episode can be several weeks)

Ep 1 is just pure lust i might say.. Their feelings will develop in ep3.. U will be confuse bcoz there's a time or weeks jump in some episodes.. like ep2 is not the continuation of ep1..in tumblr theres an accnt explaing the time and week jump but u gonna be spoiled if u read that..y we ship them? You'll see.. Bcoz im hesitant too at 1st but as the episodes continue i give in.. 😆😆😆... All the characters in MFS are intriguing.. And the storyline is so good... Even without the gay on it i will still watch it...

Maybe the reason why the first episode is already that intimate is because that was filmed in 2018 and they filmed that not knowing if the show will be picked up for more episodes. Freeform ordered more episodes in 2019 and they filmed in 2019 but they had to wait another year for it to be released. I think that first episode was a gamble for the creator and the whole cast. They didn't know what was going to happen so they had to give it their all from the very start.

Honestly I was on the fence about this show until I found out you were doing reaction videos because I had seen the first episode. Also I think being with her is a part of the self destructive streak that she had which I think is showed in how her healing someone else harmed her. Also I envy that she can braid the side of her hair because my hair is so curly it doesn't braid well and I had to shave the sides of my head to get my hair to lay flat. Amalia Holm aka the Swedish Norwegian actress playing Scylla said that her character's sexual orientation has no connection with her character's wickedness. I agree with her because Scylla was suppose to do something for the Spree to complete her final mission but she didn't do it because she fell in love with Raelle aka Taylor Hickson's character. So even if you hate Scylla's wrongdoings, you shouldn't include her love life in that. You should still ship Raylla is what I'm saying.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the show but unlike everyone else, Scylla and Raelle are not my favorite.
