Skol Cup Semi Final, Hampden Park, Glasgow, 23rd September 1986. Celtic have one foot in the final, thanks to goals from Brian McClair and Roy Aitken, but Motherwell stun the Glasgow giants with Andy Walker pulling one back before Paul Smith's last gasp leveller takes the tie into extra-time. With no further scoring, 'Well's John Philliben is the fall guy in the penalty shoot-out, smashing his spot kick against the crossbar.

I was at this game and Tommy scored the winner with aplomb....then ran behind the goal, sank to his knees and blessed himself...was a great night and game.

Happy Memories, albeit a defeat at the end of the day!! I was 12 and will never forget sitting in the rickety old main stand with the old man!!
