What a final. It was also one of the strangest days of my life. I was 10 at the time and was watching the end in a Rumbelows shop. As Jackson went through to equalise, I suffered a seizure and my life was only saved by a passing nurse. Thank you to that nurse!

I was at this, in with the Motherwell fans with my then Brother in Law. What a great game it was. Some excellent players in both teams, a couple now sadly no longer with us.

What a final. I am a Dons fan. I wanted Utd to win because l felt sorry for them in the 80s. 2 defeats to Celtic in the final and so close to winning the UEFA CUP.

Clark should have been sent off for the challenge on Maxwell playing most of the second half plus thirty minutes of extra time with broken ribs, a ruptured spleen and intermittent double vision. Best team won!
