Motif ft. Tetsuto Kato

I first met Tetsuto in 2020 after sponsoring him about a year before that. He struck me as someone who was really quiet and reserved, but still down to earth. I remember going out to dinner with him, where he didn't really eat that much.
In 2021, Tetsuto disappeared from my life. I had known that he had some medical issues in his life, but never pried into it. Give the state of the world, the only thing I was worried about was his safety and health.
While I was driving last year, I received a LINE message from Tetsuto. He said to me: Long time no see, I'm sorry for disappearing. My treatment wasn't going well and I returned home to focus on recovery.
I met with Tetsuto this year to hang out, and during that time, I wanted to see how I could help him with his health situation. We brainstormed some ideas, and decided that the best course of action was to make a signature color for him. His favorite yoyo among all the recent releases was the Motif, so it was an easy choice for us.
Tetusto is special. In the world of doing the biggest tricks possible, he dials it back, and embraces creativity in a way that no one else can replicate.
When Tetsuto was 11, he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He now requires a minimum of 4 shots of insulin a day to control his blood sugar levels. Profits from his signature color Motif, and partial profits from all Motifs will go towards his medical treatment.

2020年、加藤君に初めて出会いました。. 静かで、人見知りな印象がずっと残ってて、おとなしい人だと思ってました。 一緒に居酒屋に行った時は、あまり食べてなかった。
2021年,加藤君が急に消えました。 体の問題があったことは聞いてたが、詳しくは分からなくて、心配してました。 全世界の状態が酷くて、彼の健康しか考えてなかった。
去年運転中に、加藤君からLINEが来ました。 彼は ”お久しぶりです。長い間すみませんでした。体の状態が悪くて、休んでました”と書きました。
今年、加藤君と会いました。治療費の為に何かしてあげたかったので、シグネチャー色ヨーヨーを作る事を決めました。 その理由で、Motifの加藤徹人色が誕生しました。
Unparalleledを日本語に翻訳したら不二が一番近いと思います。加藤君は本当に不二だと思います。この世界で大きい技しかやってない間に、彼は一番綺麗な細かい、賢い技ばかりやっていて、世界には彼しか出来ないと思っています。
11歳の頃に一型糖尿病を発症してから毎日、一日に最低四回のインスリン注射と血糖直のコントロールを続けています。
今回のヨーヨーの売上の一部が、彼の一型糖尿病の医療費に充てられます。
