One difference more - you can not use music from envato in broadcast TV but in Motion Arrayou can. ("Broadcast use is not allowed. Please contact us if you wish to use the music for Broadcast".)

I used storyblocks for a year and thought it was very impressive but expensive. So I’ve used Envato for the last year and it’s v good too with more options than Storyblocks like presets for photos. I saw considering checking out Motion Array but I’ll stick with Envato after watching this video.

BEWARE - VERY Difficult to unsubscribe from Envato. I started the "Free Trial" - decided it was not for me at the time. They make it VERY DIFFICULT to unsubscribe. You cannot unsubscribe real time yourself. You have to put in a request. Then you get a warning that it may take them 5 days to respond which would be past your free period. You also cannot just delete your credit card info. This is HORRIBLE customer service from Envato if you ask me.

I’m not seeing the issue. To cancel your subscription, one would visit “My Account / subscription details” the cancelation link is there. I just walked through the process and received 70% off my next month, so thanks!

I actually switched from Motion Array to Envato Elements. The fact that I was able to get Photoshop and Illustrator files sold me…but when I was just doing video editing I only had Motion Array.

I use both, the issue with Elements is quality when it comes to stock footage. Motionarray footage are very professional and high quality.

I like what motion array has to offer as far as tools but elements gives me more to work with as far as content creation and web development all in one but I still would like to try out Motion Array when it gets larger and my video production skills get better.

One extra benefit to Envato is there isn't a softlock to how fast you might download things. With Motion Array they will eventually start to Captcha soft lock you if you are downloading too much or too fast.

Just got the free version of Motion Array but have the Envato Elements subscription. The main thing I was looking for were some additional transitions. Low and behold...I did a simple search on Envato and bam...there they are! So doing a simple search on Envato may also uncover some additional tools and resources that I just didn't think of for some reason...thanks for this Premiere Gal!

Hi! I have just used your 70% (or kind of) discount link. Thx !!! Just to inform you all here, it only works for a monthly subscription. And my 5 pennies, I tried to cancel immediately, as to avoid the usual crappy "commercial" attitude when you try to unsubscribe later, and they offered me a second month with 70% discount. So I got that too. Nevertheless, I payed with PayPal and deleted the automatic renewal, to avoid "surprises". But I will accept next month when PayPal asks me if I accept the charge. Just a heads up, Envato no longer offers a trial period. A single month of subscription costs $40 vs $16.50 for an annual plan. Motion Array still lets you create an account to get the free labeled assets. They are $30 for a single month and $19 a month with an annual plan. Envato gives away like 12 random assets (music, audio, fonts, graphics, templates, etc.) that gets changed every month.

I’ve been using Motion Array for like 4 years now. I’ve tried envato about 3 times now. I find that Envato has a large library but it’s already across too many categories thus diluting the amount of actual motion graphics/presets/video templates available. Motion array I think has a better choice of MOGRTS and Davinci Resolve Macros. (In fact I couldn’t find any macros on envato when I just recently tried them in fact) Personally I just don’t need the other assets Envato offers so I stuck with motion array these years.

Hey Brad! Good points. I do love Motion Array’s template filter system especially for mogrts as I mention in the video. I haven’t fully explored the offerings yet for Davinci as I don’t use the software, but it makes sense if you need more variety of Davinci to go with MA. MA’s panel in Pr/Ae is also an awesome bonus.

Wjhen using envato you would habe to add a new license for every single product you are using the download. When you just download a sound effect and you want to use it in 20 videos you have to create licenses for each of the videos. This makes it a bit complicated.

Kinda makes sense as different projects come just to pop in for a month and grab it then..... eventually you will have all you need.... with the exceptions of video clips and music.

Hi, I'm brand new to this and apologize if this has already been asked. I am currently working on editing and producing a vacation video and want to try Envato for the free trial. I read somewhere that, even though I have unlimited downloads during the free trial, they all have been watermarked essentially making them useless for my project. This true? I am considering subscribing but want to try it first as I'm not a creator per' se. I mostly edit and compile for friends and family but am seriously considering turning it into something more that would/could generate income.

Went for Motion Array. I tried to subscribe to Envato Elements, and their support are very bad. When I log in the website, it just tells me the site is "Temporarily Unavailable", and then nothing happens. Can't use the website when Logged. If I logoff from my account, everything comes back to normal. Sent an e-mail to them about all of this, and they simply said: "We’re using our discretion and will not be re-enabling your account." Then I consider myself "banned" from the website just for trying to PAY A SUBSCRIPTION. Didn't understand at all, now waiting for an explanation. Already subscribed to Motion Array, but will try to understand what happened anyway. Any news I edit this message here.

No mention of the quality of the assets in the video. Who has the best quality? I've used envato for videos and I find that most of their videos are cheaply made (camera shake, cheesy actors, over exaggerated acting, cheap backgrounds and props, poor color selection, although 4K - poor resolution and noticeable noise, way too many irrelevant videos included in the search, and so on...) . Never used motion array so would love to get your input on the quality of the assets. Thanks again and love your channel.

Envato has a lot of older stuff form VideoHive, but their newer library has higher quality - you can sort by “new” to see :) MotionArray has had a more limited stock library, and as I mentioned in the video the search-ability and usability of their templates is better.

Love all your videos and you've taught me a lot. I was disappointed with "Envato Elements" over the holiday though on Black Friday. I tried to get the promotion they had and subscribe. I am in the US and I tried 2 different cards (Debit and credit card) and they would not go through for whatever reason. I reached out to them and they said it should have worked but don't know why. My test payment of a dollar went through okay but the full payment wouldn't. My banks cleared it to go but don't know what happened. Then I recieved an email stating "Hi there, Regrettably, after further review, we’re using our discretion and will not be re-enabling your account. Please note, your most recent order has been voided by our payment system, so no funds have been taken from your account. That was really disappointing for I was really looking forward to using them per your suggestion. Don't know if there's anything you could do to help in this situation. Just thought I'd throw it out. Would still love to use them. Keep doing what you do. You do an awesome job! Appreciate you.
