amazing tutorial. for those who are confused like me the first time I watched this video, I struggled the first time around cause I had no idea what he's doing. my advice is: go watch a tutorial on slider control and get the principle behind so you can fully understand what's going on here. once I learned about slider controls principle everything here made more and more sense. guess I truly earned those xp's now :)

I’m gonna try and word this question as coherently as possible: is there a way to make a continuously zooming tunnel that eventually goes into a scene reveal? I’m working on a project with an unfolding cube and I have it set up where the bottom face on the inside of the cube is going to be a tunnel. I basically need there to be some kind of continuous zoom in the tunnel until I can have it reveal the next scene for timing purposes. Hopefully that makes sense, lol

Awesome tutorial, loving it so far. Although I need some help because I'm using AE 2020 and I can't seem to make the inner rectangle layer transparent. There's no even track matte pick whip (Which is not a problem though, the only problem is the transparency)

Try making sure you are pickwhipping from the outer/larger matte to the smaller square and make sure you click the invert checkbox! Let me know if you are still having a problem!

@@Crazy_Graphix Are you sure it's not transparent? Try putting an object behind it...If your AE comp settings have black as the bg colour...you wont see the transparency grid. Also, you can toggle the transparency grid on or off and yours might be off.

I'm glad! I have 2 styling tips for you. 1. find styles you like and try to copy them/use them for inspiration (this will help you eventually come up with your own). 2. start learning about how to use layer style in AE...quite a gamechanger that not enough people use/talk about.
