I get as far as placing a picture overlay, adjust and crop, but I don't have an efit button on the left underneath the trash can button. On a Samsung ultra 22s 5g

Cool, does the tracking element have to be a a sticker? Can you draw a block and have it do tracking blurry box

It can be anything you add to an overlay track.

Can you help me? I click on the video in the timeline, select tools, motion tracker, ? pop up window stating In the Motion Tracker, PD uses the source clip for preview. If you applied reverse on the clip, it will be removed. Do you want to continue? I click yes. Motion tracker window pops up with no video to preview. I have tried numerous videos and none pop up. I'm using Powerdirector 365, I have the latest version on Windows 11 Home, Processor AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.59 GHz, RAM 16GB, 64 bit os. Please help

Why can’t gifs be used in the app, only video? On a gif it says motion tracking can’t be used because the gif has no motion.

Im trying to use motion tracking but I can’t get it to do what I want. Trying to zoom in, and track an object that goes across my screen, but the view doesn’t follow it. It just runs right off the screen. If motion tracking can’t do this, just let me know lol I’m new to video editing.

It can do that. If it isn't working as it should and you are following the steps you need to report it to CyberLink. In the app go to settings > rate & Suggestions. Be sure to include your email address so they respond back to you with a solution.

@@PowerDirectorApp yea I reported it. I should clarify, the item I’m trying to track is in the video is a part of the video itself. Not a sticker or anything. But I’m following the steps in this video. When the tracker starts when I play the video it shows the sticker and it just goes left right off the screen lol.

They say they will be releasing these features on Android in the future. They haven't said when though... iOS features not on Android yet: Motion Tracking, Speech To Text, AI Body Effects, & Background Removal.
