This is easily the best tutorial I've found explaining out how to do incorporate 3D text into video. So many videos skip over the minor details but this is flawless and super easy to follow along!

Hello sir, can we use anything else instead of just text? Like any green screen video or something more active on own!

Please make sure to set a classic 3d render, since if you have Cinema 4D render selected youll not be able to change mode on the 3d text layers...

Hi Jorden , hope you are well. I really think that your videos are amazing and all me and my videographer friends appreciate what you do. we have a successful rap show that has just ended in the uk called Daily Duppy on youtube from GRM Daily and there are some very cool tracked txt and image effects in it but there are a lot of debates on how this is done because they look very realistic especially in their latest episodes. a lot of editors in the uk are confused on how this is achieved, I would highly appreciate any advice or even better a tutorial. a lot of people would watch it as you will be the first to reveal their secrets haha. all the best and thank you for any advice

Thank you for the tutorial mate, but, when i create a text, because its tracked, this turn into a 3d object and with that i can't select different modes for my text, i need to deselect the 3d object option, and in this way i can't track my title. Can you help me with that? Thank you in advance

I'm lost. Where did that bullseye thingy come from? This is the problem i tend to see with video (ugh) tutorials. The instructor goes and clicks some setting or something but fails to show in extreme detail what it is they just clicked and why they clicked it. So getting back to what i was saying, the bullseye thingy is there but why and how do i get it to show on the screen and why do i want it on the screen? ugh i hate video tutorials. words and pictures is so much better

To make it more realistic I would skew the text water reflection and make it shorter as the “camera” moves closer. It might also be good to look at a subtle wiggle/wave effect for the reflection. No disrespect to Eminem haha
@MotionArrayTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Thanks ryan, we will see how those methods look as well in comparison
@cameronmillar-turner89803 жыл бұрын
Legit getting so sick and tired of people showing how to do this but the text moves in the video 99% of the time. Wish they actually showed how to pin it to an area

there needs to be a fade on the shadow. Look at the buildings. Also the ripples and white wash wouldn't have the same reflections, so you need to mask those as well.
@MotionArrayTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Cheers Paul. Good spot. This was a bit of a strange one as we were caught trying to replicate the effect seen in Eminem’s music video while at the same time wanting it to make it look “realistic”
@paulcampagna6 жыл бұрын
I don't watch / listen to him, so tht doesn't matter to me. It would've been helpful to see how to make the blend is all. Doesn't look realistic without it. Good job on describing how to do what is shown.
