Watch this full wedding ceremony example video as Jordyn and Josh tie the knot at the iconic glass chapel at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort on the Gold Coast.
Typically I use three camera angles for every ceremony. One for the groom, one for the bride and a single wide angle but I have used a fourth if the space allows for it. Not only does this capture everything efficiently but it also allows me to edit around the photographer who may be wandering around.
For capturing sound I like to record right from the celebrant's PA system which provides clear audio for not only the service but the vows as well. I also place a back up microphone on the celebrant and a lapel microphone on the groom. Most groom's wear a button hole on their lapel which hides any microphone I might use.
