Ya know this comic is an excellent explanation of Korra and Asami's relationship. Like, there's many people who think them being together and stuff was forced but this kind of provides an explanation of how it all went down from *their* perspective.

too bad not most people have read the comic after S4. everyone pretty much thought TLOK ended after they went in the new portal. that's why people think the whole korrasami thing was forced, unnecessary, a marketing thing, and/or out of context. this comic would've been the best season ender for s4; giving a proper entry of what's to come for season 5 and properly explain how korrasami ended up together. they gave subtle hints as the show ended but i guess the prod for TLOK really couldn't do much under Nickelodeon.. i hope they continue the comics or atleast get picked up somewhere more.. open-minded.

Also since aang is not main charecter any more but they don't understand avatar cycle needs to continue and aang has to die so that new avatar comes also aang wasn't immortal so he isn't gonna live forever. The main problem comes when the korra season 2 they ruined certain things like the spirits also korra losing her connection to all her past lives (even I was getting angry) but korra also did good things like she revived air benders which aang wanted to but couldn't do it. She made direct connection to Raava which only first avatar could do it as far we know and she also achieved that cosmic power of avatar which aang couldn't achive when he was training with guru. But as it's said every avatar did certain mistake in their lives and it's job of new avatars to fix that what they did in previous lives. Korra losing connection to past lives is maybe for setup for new avatar series where avatar after her will find a way to restore connection to her past lives while korra spirit guiding him.

Thanks for showing The Legend of Korra, it may not be the same as Avatar the Last Airbender, but its not supposed to be. There is beauty in difference, I am inspired by these writers courage to make a story deeper than Good vs Evil, where you find yourself lost in the characters who face their inner demons. I can tell the writers of this story put their heart into it, thanks for allowing me to read these works, they inspire me to believe in who I can be. Korra's Beauty is in its Complexity, the writers allowed themselves to write their hearts out, to show the challenges of girl with the world on her shoulders, a girl who fights at every chance not because it is easy, but because it is hard. When governments get more authoritarian, they start enforcing "traditional" gender roles more rigidly. It's part of their project of making babies as fast as possible. And as "pure" as possible [throws up a little in mouth]. LGBTQ+ relationships and people distort these gender roles, and thus become targets as governments start embracing Imperialism. Religion isn't necessarily required.

I could think about 3 different aspects of this video. First one would be the overall quality of The Legend of Korra series and now these novels have. I agree while they are not the same masterpiece level to what The Last Airbender was, I think they are still good enough and worthy to watch. Derived from that, second aspect would be for me the Korrasami relationship. It's fine, and it's also charming on itself, the problem is I feel it makes as much sense as if someone told me one day Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse realised they were in love. While I do like the way they interact and the nature of their relationship, I think it was so extremely forced that unavoidably there's something off with it, something that doesn't give a complete satisfaction and joy out of it. And the third thing would be this video itself. You did and amazing job! The music selection, the flow of the scenes, their motion and rythm. It rocks hard. Thank you very much for this great work and congratulations for it at the same time. Keep it up! I'll be looking forward for more of this awesome stuff you gave us here. Thank you!

Yea I think it feels inorganic because we didn’t get to see a good formation of their romantic relationship. They skipped over their attraction to each other and didn’t have enough intense (or mildly intense) private moments. They did have those w/ the straight relationships which made them feel more natural I think (like with mako & korra, mako & asami, bolin & opal)

ATLA is a masterpiece Legendof korra is a great show and it is a lot diferent because ATLA is Charecter driven story but Korra is antagonist vs protagonis but from each villain she learned a lot last battle how much I am sad to say but I loved better Spiritcannon vs korra than Ozai vs avatar. Final agni kai was better than both. Firerord Ozai is Bad because he is bad character but azula is diferent same is with 2nd season of korra and 3rd season antagonist Zahear was the best antagonist they had but Unaloq in start he looked promising but in the end he was worst villain of all seasonsif he would care about spirits I would love that but he didnt sad.

They didn’t give the writers any foresight about getting more seasons and giving them a date of like 3-4 months without even having an outline which is why season 2 is so fucking weirdly scattered and horribly animated. Then there was this back and forth on the release schedule because they were doing broadcast then internet releases then back to tv broadcast so on so forth. It was just a huge mess, and they stopped working with Nickelodeon because of it.

i think korrasami was actually a beautiful development. they went from jealous because of mako, to friends, to flirty, to the most beautiful fictional relationship i’ve ever seen! and some might say that it was rushed, but it took two seasons (season 3 and 4) to develop. that is quite a long time, considering there were also three years between those two seasons. also, in real life, i’ve found out that loads of wlw relationships usually happen way faster than straight relationships. straight people usually “dance” around each other for months before finally admitting they like each other. every single wlw relationship i know wasn’t like that. the moment they realized that they liked each other, they told each other, because what did they have to lose? my third argument on why i think that the “korrasami was rushed” argument isn’t good, is because loads of other relationships in the series don’t even HAVE a development, yet they are supported so much! look at kainora, look at bopal! both of them are straight, both of them barely have a development, yet both of them are loved. so to sum it up, korrasami is amazing and it means so much to a lot of avatar fans (including me), and the “korrasami was rushed” reasoning isn’t a good reasoning to be used

I don’t like how korra reacts when her father tells her to watch out about telling people, he’s just trying to help her out and she acts like he’s against her and asami, HE LITERALLY JUST SAID HE WAS HAPPY FOR IT. I like the couple of Asami and Korra. However, the background for it was imo almost nonexistent. Asami had throughout the series like half the screen time of Bolin and Mako. If not for being part of the "Avatar Team" she could have been easily considered a supporting character. The argument of the little mail exchange they had during Korra's absence feels also very weak as a solid reason to justify a romantic interest. Now, if the rush for this was Nickelodeon not allowing it to be addressed, then yeah, why put it at all during the animated series? I think it would have been better to just wait for the novels and develope it there so it could had the background and growth it really deserved it. So that when it would happen you could feel actually satisfied.
